Big fan of Clyne. We've been very strongly linked to him, which I'd like because I'm not a huge fan of Simpson.

Dunno if he'll be playing tonight, but Craig Conway looked good for Cardiff against WBA. I'm also interested in seeing how Wilfried Zaha does, after his game against us.

Edit: Teams...

Crystal Palace

Speroni
Ramage McCarthy Gardner Parr
Zaha Dikgacoi Jedinak Ambrose
Martin Murray

Subs: Price, Wright, Garvan, Scannell, Easter, O'Keefe, Andrew

Cardiff City

Heaton
McNaughton Hudson Turner Taylor
Cowie Whittingham Gunnarsson Ralls
Mason Miller

Subs: Marshall, Kiss, Gerrard, Earnshaw, Conway, Blake, McPhail

No Clyne then.

Anthony Gardner was great in the post match interview. He was like "ITHINKWEPLAYEDAGOODGAME...er...KEPTACLEANSHEET... er...MANAGERWILLBEHAPPYWITHUS...er..."

I thought Zaha was good again. He's obviously very raw, but he's got the qualities to be a top winger. He's strong, quick, and skillful. He's also a bloody nuisance, just doesn't give up on anything.

How are the rules regarding red cards in the CC? The suspensions only count in the league once the team is out of the CC, right?

Pretty sure of that, yeah.

Wanted Liverpool to take something off City last time the two met but I'm pretty uncertain what result I want tonight.

I want a City win. After Suarezgate, there's no way that I'm going to be hoping for a Liverpool win in any competition where their victory doesn't benefit us.

Hope for a one goal win for city, or at least that the second leg is all to play for as liverpool play us 3 or 4 days after that one.

City have won the FA cup. Not only have they ended their trophy drought, they've also won a more important one than the League Cup.

If I had to pick one, I'd rather see them win it than Liverpool.

I'm sure Mr Hansen will have a nice time analysing the great Liverpool on BBC 1 tonight.

3-1 City.

That'll be perfect, a 1-0 and then city can smash them into pieces at Anfield.

Subs: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Onuoha, Hargreaves, Nasri, Dzeko

Subs: Enrique, Coates, Kuyt, Carragher, Shelvey, Adam, Doni

Silva not even on the bench. Rumour of a broken foot, though someone else says just a niggle.

Not really bothered about the games tonight , I dont want City to win , but then again I want Liverpool to win even less.

Somebody posted this on my facebook.

The FA have issued a new directive. Any Liverpool player passing the ball to Andy Carroll will be booked for time wasting

"Am I the only City fan happy that Yaya Toure has departed? He is far too slow for our style, and wastes the ball! 2-0 tonight!"

Can't help but love them fans.

How long have City been "putting a show on for us on these big nights"? Christ alive, why is everyone talking City as if they're a big club and saying they are a big club? They've won one trophy in 30 years. As it happens though, I'd much rather see City smash Liverpool here.
