Malaga @ 4/7
Everton @ 1/2
Borussia Dortmund @ 8/15

£5 returns £40. Gonna give it a punt.

Have a load of bets on today. Couple being £5 E/W on Rooney to score first at 7/2 and £5 on him scoring two or more at 16/5 (done it four times previously against Villa).

Arsenal DRAW Fulham
Stoke beat QPR
Everton beat Sunderland
Reading DRAW Norwich....
And then Swansea to beat Southampton.

50/1 - stuck a £5 on it. Fuming that I went with Swansea

I think I'll chance my tactic and just place a decently large sum on a double, instead of a £5 on a 5-fold or something. I made 5 £5 five folds today - all different teams to eachother, and 4 of them only had one team failing. Horrible.

Started it by placing £50 on Juve and Waregam tonight. £105 returns I believe.

usually a "money back" double is a good bet along with the riskier ones

cant even get those right anymore. Annoyingly I emptied my small account onto games today and as we went down 2-0 I sat here thinking "fuck I wish I had something to in play bet on us coming back" - sure enough 3-2.

Where are you betting? If you bet with william hill and you 5fold is let down by 1 team you get your stake back

This is the advice I dish out to my mate who texts me every Saturday evening bemoaning the one team who let down his 20/1 accumulator. Twat.

That's definetly the safer option of course, but who would you bet on? A large sum on a favourite, or a decent sum on a team that isn't odds on. For example,

8/15 for Notts County to beat Hartlepool for example,
or a 11/10 for Notts County to beat Hartepool.

My double above failed by the way. I couldn't believe it - top of the Belgian lead against one of the bottom 3 clubs, the latter had a man sent off in the first 7 minutes - I thought happy days! But they still conceded first, and only equalised in the 70th minute and no more goals were scored. Juventus on the other hand are 5-1 up at the moment - so once again, one team lets me down.

I'm having a 'mare at the moment.

Newcastle are evens to beat West Ham at home tomorrow. Great price imo. Previous meetings favours Newcastle as well. West Ham have only scored 3 in 5 away games this season.

I've banned myself from betting on foreign leagues that I'm unsure about. For example, one of the teams that let me down yesterday in one of my 5-match accy was some Albanian team. Despite them being on top, TOP form and facing someone absolutely shite - they still drew or lost. Happened a few times lately.

The only 4-fold I'm going for today is Porto, Barcelona, Atheltico Madrid and Anderlecht. I'm staying away from Real Madrid since they face a pretty strong Levante away. Levante's undefeated so far at their ground and I think Madrid might struggle.

If I look at the PL games, I'll most likely go for 3 home wins.

I've gone for -

Newcastle
Chelsea + 1
Man City + 1

£20 gives £55 returns.

Decided to risk it and gone for City and Chelsea to draw and Newcastle to win... To be honest I'm actually least confident in Newcastle winning

£5 gets £136.50 so if you see a giant erection over Old Trafford today it's because results went my way.

Also did a bit of a pussy bet with double chance triple: City/Draw, Chelsea/Draw, Newcastle/Draw..

So we're guaranteed an away win today guys!

Do you keep track of your wins/losses Brwned? You seem to do well with what you post on here, unless we're not getting the whole tale of course.

Think I worked out that I'm about £60 down for the season.

Obviously I'm not winning £80 every week and making a consistent profit, I've barely done any bets in the last few weeks really. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose...I'm up for the season but I've been eating away at the winnings from early October really. Won ~£400 from the Euros and then maybe £250 a couple of months later, that's been it. The rest of it has just been winning £75 and then losing it a week later.

Had a good day myself. Called HT/FT for both City and Chelsea game - £20 deposited, £150 withdrawn. That's me done until after New Year's, quit while I'm ahead.

£200 would have won yesterday on a £2 accumulator if Arteta had scored that penalty.

Inter losing just screwed my 8 team accumulator. Was a pretty good weekend though, mostly because I made inplay bets on us winning when we were 1-0 down and 2-0 down.

I think it's hilarous people come in this thread to post their picks after the games have been played and their bets have won.

Having a decent week and up around £120, doing a correct score bet that I used to do quite regularly this week.

Arsenal v Tottenham 2-0, 2-1, 1-1
Newcastle v Swansea 2-0, 2-1, 1-1
QPR v Southampton 2-0, 2-1, 1-1
Reading v Everton 2-1, 1-1, 1-2
West Brom v Chelsea 2-1, 1-1, 1-2

270 x £0.05 Trebles
405 x £0.05 Quads
Total Cost £33.75

Fingers crossed for all 5 of them coming in though with my luck I'll probably not even hit a treble lol

Depends on how many would come in, if all 5 selections come in it pays out 5 quads at around £120 each plus 10 trebles at around £20 each at the lower price range, at the higher price range 1 quad can pay around £200

Right, I openend a SkyBet account during the week to take advantage of their Free £10 offer.

Not being a regular betting man, I have no idea what kind of bets are likely to be fruitful for me. For example, I have no idea what the post by onesaf means and no idea how you bet on that at all.

Got a £5 bet to put on. Anyone got any recommendations?

Problem with that is that if you get the treble you need odds of 674/1 to break even. Plus you got do the fivefold just in case it really is your day.

Doubles can give odds and aren't too hard to predict. Try stay away from accumulators, they give great potential returns but nearly always you'll be let down by a team you expected to win.

Checking things like league position, home/away form, head-to-head history, player injuries, etc doesn't take long and'll give you a better chance of winning.
