Hargreaves hasn't.

Thats why Barry is playing. That and hes an intelligent passer.
Croatia showed Barry isn't up to it at the top level.

Im tempted to watch the Scotland game now. Modric is playing, the best football brain I have saw bar Scholes, and plus Steven Fletcher is making is debut, and our Fletcher is playing too...

On the other hand, I have 4 and maybe Evra, United players playing for England.

Right.

And Reading showed Hargreaves is.

Barry wasn't good against Croatia. Every other match, he was. And every single one of our players have had poor matches.

Hopefully 4 plays subbed at HT too.

Barry and Hargreaves in the middle? I can see Gerrard coming back into the midfield to try and create something, which will mean we play a 4-5-1 with on top on his own.

Should have played an attacking 4-4-2..even if we got beat 3-0, the world wouldn't be surprised, we didn't even qualify for the Euros

Im sure Capello played Diarra and Emerson together most of last season in a boring yet effective holding position.

Gerrard really has license to get upfront and for once in his life perform for England.

I was merely pointing out the that your statement that Barry was in the top 3 players in every game was false.

In any case Portugal showed Hargreaves is a decent player. Israel showed Barry was. I still think Barry goes missing against the top teams, been shown in the Premiership consistently.

I agree, can't see him sustaining a place at international level.

You're right. The key to the formation is whether Gerrard will step or will he go missing again like he did on Sunday (ok that's a bit harsh).

That's tame in comparison to what the Scousers have been saying.

there's no way Capello would every play a 442. he never has, and he never will except in desperation.

He's still regarded as a better player than Evra.

All fair enough, I see what you mean. Yes Barry was poor against Croatia, I should have mentioned that. But in every other match since his come back he was very good for England.
