Is it really believable that a current-day football manager wouldn't know how to email, use a computer or a fax machine?

Do you think he realises it's a trial? He probably thinks it's An Audience With... 'arry Redknapp.

I can't work a computer, I don't know what an email is, I can't, I have never sent a fax and I've never even sent a text message. I have a big problem, I can't write so I don't keep anything. I am the most disorganised person, I am ashamed to say, in the world.

I've never wrote a letter in my life. I couldn't write a letter. I write like a two-year-old and I can't spell. Why am I gonna fiddle 20, 30 whatever thousand pounds of income tax when I walk away six months later from £200,000 that I was due?
Defence by strategic incompetence I believe it is called.

It's irrelevant to the case.Lester Piggot went to jail in an age before computer technology was freely available

His typical day-to-day office I imagine would be at the training ground, it did have a 'spare classroom/supply store room' feel to it.

I'm convinced that this trial is the sole reason why the Jan transfer window has been so shit. However there's still hope, his trial ends at 31st jan 4pm, the transfer windows ends at 6pm. More than enough time for Harry to do some wheeling dealing.

In fairness, who else expected his defence to tax evasion to be "I'm illiterate".

He might be a genius.

Redknapp: "I've paid over £8 million income tax. Why are we bothering over £10,000 or whatever I'm said to have saved in tax?"

Redknapp said focus was on marking Beckham when Monaco fax sent before Old Trafford match, "but didn't work well as he scored a hattrick!"

More laughter as Redknapp talks about Rosie again. "I don't ever like calling her a dog. She was better than that"

Redknapp: "Everything I've told you has been the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. So help me God"
He thinks this is one big triffic joke which will culminate in Jim White telling 'Arry he's been punk'd.

I think he's alright, good manager. I think most people dislike him here because he's a cockney with a funny face who's done quite well at this management lark.
