Henry weeps again "My Patience Wearing Thin"
After his famous rants last season "All La Liga teams should play 4-4-2 and Barca dosent play DIRECT football like Arsenal", he was caught crying again.

He's doing another Owen in Spain.
Only Barcodes would bother snatching him if he decides to fuck off. |

I'd find it flattering if someone hard rubbed against me.

Anyway wasn't L'Equipe the paper who accused that Sochaux player of secretly organising a military coup of Japan? |

L´Equipe have always been Henry's trusted mate, they can read his lips.

What a whining bitch. He leaves a club that built a team around him and turned him from an average winger in an international superstar and goal scoring Phenomenon and now he complains because the club he moved to won't do the same.
Most punchable face in football. |

Seems like Henry is another Juan Roman Riquelme or Jun Sebabastien Veron. This genre of players only plays well if the entire team is structured around them. Once they are not the main player and fulcrum of the team, their overall performance will deteriorate

Thierry Henry did score 19 goals last season for Barcelona in all competitions. That while sometimes being played on the left side of the attack and having to cope with injury and rotation which meant his first season was a bit stop-start.
The change of club and a new enviroment has had an affect on his performance level but the dip in Thierry Henry's form began during his final year at Arsenal where he only managed to make 27 appearances scoring 12 goals in the process. I wouldn't agree that he has to have a whole team built around him for him to play well consistently. It is natural due to his advancing years that he doesn't play as well now as he used to. Henry hasn't suddenly turned rubbish just because he has changed clubs and has had to adapt to new teammates, i'd say his poor form has been on the cards for a while even if he had stayed at Arsenal. |

There's a big difference between needing the entire team built around him and just being played in the wrong position. If we had played Saha, Cole or Yorke out wide in the position that Henry is being asked to play, they all would've struggled to perform to the level they could in their more natural position. Same with Ronaldo, when we play him as an actual striker he generally doesn't perform as well. Henry is doing the same - playing fairly well but obviously not natural or particularly happy in that role. Also, his form was on the slide even in his Arsenal days. |

That said, Henry is at his best when he's playing alongside someone. Whether he's a second-striker, leading the line or playing with a striker with an equal sort of role.
However, I do think someone of Henry's calibre should be able to play on the left fairly well, considering he did do quite a bit of damage as a left-sided striker for Arsenal. |
