I think Barry will do well for Liverpool. But I still see Arsenal, United and Chelsea, being better than them unless DIC take over and give them a huge transfer fund. Liverpool are short in a few areas. Their fans are already moaning that the players they've signed in fullback positions are not good enough.

Next season is going to be really competitive though. I know we say that every year, but this time it really will be. I doubt anyone else will break into the top 4, but Spurs and Man City might come close.

Getting the hat-trick of league titles is a big ask for United. The competition is much tougher than it was in 1999-2001. It may be an impossible task given the demands of the World CC etc.

They got more points in 01/02(80 or so i think) and 05/06(82) than last season(76).

Aaaarrghhhhh. How the feck did that happen?

"Fear" my arse. Christ, they're clutching at straws if they need to trawl a United message board in search of self-respect.

Like fuck it's their year. I'd just like that to go on the record.

Send a message via MSN to Utd heap
Liverpool wont win the league next year...

Even without Ronaldo we have a vastly superior squad, as do Liverpool, and Arsenals first eleven is atleast on a par.

Almost unbelievably, despite the extremely pro-Liverpool tone of my original post, the useless gimp deliberately misquoted me.

Somehow became.

"Kuyt will ccontinue to blossom into a truely world class player."
Unlike said nosy scouser, I know how to spell "truly", you see

P.S. Kuyt and "world class player" in the same sentence. Comedy gold

The thing is, Pogue - that site is almost certainly made by a United fan as a joke of how deluded the Scousers are.

Ah. Got you.

Never seen it before and didn't read any of the other article.

It did seem a tad over the top, mind.

And to think I've gone and posted two indignant responses in the comments section. For shame
