The guy's an insect compared to SAF. I'd be more worried if Rafa had been appointed.

We'll have to see based on the lineups tomorrow.

If he put Gerrard in the center midfield, then nothing will change, him playing there symbolises everything that's wrong with Liverpool. oh.. and carra plays.

Same old same old story.

He's not messiah, he's there all along didn't he? even as assistant he should have had his "new guy in town luck" long time ago

His rustiness at managing at the top level will be his downfall.

Am I right in thinking that Fergie & Dalglish dislike each other?

He is a Scot, but i meant that Carragher and Gerrard would have been around for so long they would have finally figured out how to understand him.

They never really got on as managers, don't really know what the story is at the moment. Fergie nicking Keane from right underneath his nose was the cause of some friction.

On a personal level Fergie and Dalglish are friends from what I've read. On the football field obviously they've had their spats but that's the case with most people.

Sir Alex even wrote the foreword for Dalglish's book in 1996.

I seem to remember Dalglish sticking up for SAF when the press were giving him a hard time

It's amusing how scousers refer to Fergie as bacon face and whiskey nose, when Dalglish is the most red-faced alcoholic tramp looking bastard in football.

Funny to hear the crowd singing for him at the end, after another utterly shite performance. If Roy had been in charge of that exact game they'd have been booing the team off.

Indeed.

And if Konchesky had made that kick on Berba in the box they'd be deriding him for being a clumsy shit bastard.

Aside from losing, prob the best start he could have had. He cant be blamed for Gerrards madness or account for the fact that his iicaptain marvel will now miss the next few games.

we never 'murdered then' nor deliver the morale sapping battering we all hoped for.

Im expecting a major shock like him selling Torres to fund some new transfers.

Exactly.

Yes, they had to play with ten men for about an hour, but still they didn't 'create' anything at all except the Aurelio freekick (and that was coming from Anderson acting a bit spastic). We on the other hand should've had four or five, but hey it's King Kenny, he can't put a foot wrong

RAWK is going to be comedy gold tonight.

It's amazing really. We were rubbish collectively, yet beat them so comfortably. But they will be happoy and take 'postives' from this. Just because Kenny is in charge

yes it's amazing how little we appeared to try, yet they never really looked like scoring

I find it funny they think Dalgish can save them from trouble, based on what, he is a great player in his prime but not necessary mean he be a good manager.

The funniest bit was in the post match interview when asked about the red card

Presenter: "But are you not risking a red when a player goes in with both feet off the ground?"
Kenny: "What are we going to have a red every time a player goes off the ground?"

Well, yeah Kenny, thats the rule now.

How long is it since this guy managed again?

Does he know the keeper cant pick up a back pass anymore?

That was the highpoint of KKs second stint....all downhill from here, which will lead to him storming out in April, and Gerrard taking over as player manager to oversee their relegation to the Championship

Gerrard missing is a blessing in disguise, they always plays better without the starfish.

It seems that most players secretly hated him or feared him, but they look more relax and composed when he's not playing. Torres aside, well.. torres didn't bother much nowdays with our without G playing

If KD is telling Agger and Gerrard they did nothing wrong in private then they are just going to end up further in the shit.

Anyone else hoping he has a moderate level of success?

Think about it. If he does he'll want the job permanently. If he wants the job full time then the mad fans will surely be behind him and the call to give him a 3-4 year contract will be huge.

This will present a very sticky situation with the owners. If they don't and are perceived to have treated him badly then it will alienate them from the fans. They will most likely buckle and hand him the job just like they did with the sacking of Hodgson.

If he does OK in the next few months I can see him getting it full time. That will be no bad thing IMO.
