There isn't any vaccination for malaria. You can take tablets which help to prevent it but they're not 100% effective.

I'm sure he'll be fine as he will be given the best medical treatment available. It is only dangerous if you don't treat it and/or have malnutrition and a weak immune system. Even the common cold can be fatal.

That's very true, he really looked like he needed a rest after the ACN. He played with niggles for too long but didn't get the rest he required.

And I realise Malaria is, unfortunately, prominent in India - it was kind of the jist of my post. Someone who has experienced it first hand and blown it off as a 'big deal
