Shit. Hope he's alright for the season.

Incidentally I'd have thought he'd be worth more than 7 million... oh well.

I know it's wrong but does anyone else find this funny?

“He has malaria but is in good spirits.”

Get well soon, Toure.

All the best for the recovery, but he is a bit stupid. Should have taken a vaccination.

There isn't any vaccination for malaria. You can take tablets which help to prevent it but they're not 100% effective.

I'm sure he'll be fine as he will be given the best medical treatment available. It is only dangerous if you don't treat it and/or have malnutrition and a weak immune system. Even the common cold can be fatal.

Kolo Toure contracts malaria? Surely he's not allowed sign for another club while on Arsenals books?

Fuck off. You're from India right? I bet you wouldn't say it's a big deal if you contracted some of the diseases that tear through the millions of unfortunate people over your side of the world.

That's very true, he really looked like he needed a rest after the ACN. He played with niggles for too long but didn't get the rest he required.

Hopefully now he can overcome all the niggles, and of course this disease.

BTW on a side note, if someone had the audacity to bid 7 million for him I'd personally fly over to take a shit in the said Manager's letter box.

You can't vaccinate against something that isn't bacterial nor viral.

Has someone placed a curse on the Arse, if so, you need to get a Druid to take a piss in the four corners of the ground, works a treat so I've heard.

All the best to Kolo Toure.

Listen you twat!

Malaria is quite common here and I have had malaria. Its bad but you can have adequate treatment and be ok.I didnt mean to laugh or make fun.No need to bring in those unfortunate people because they can't even afford the treatment. So shove your tongue back up your ass and fck off!

I know.

And I realise Malaria is, unfortunately, prominent in India - it was kind of the jist of my post. Someone who has experienced it first hand and blown it off as a 'big deal ' was worthy of such ire.

Malaria weakens the body. It takes quite a while to get over the effects.

Wish the guy well.

It is not a big deal. People who die from it have been brought to under a 1000 in India and that too because that lot can't get good treatment.
