I hate lazy players so it's good to see Warnock making the players work their bollocks off and the team spirit seems good with Peltier making a good leader. Will take time to gel all those new faces but Warnock has bought well and managed to keep McCormack so, while there will be ups and downs, I'm optimistic.
Such a shame to see Snodgrass and Howson be reminded that the grass isn't always greener in Norfolk. |

Well that was a humdinger of a game at ER!
Looked like it was going tits up when we went 2-0 down but we came back to go 3-2 up only to let them get a scrappy equaliser...even though it came from a free kick that never was! |

Hey Marching, one of my close friends Patrick Antelmi signed for you guys this year. He is in the reserves at the moment. Have you seen any of his games or heard about how he is doing?

He's playing for us in the Professional Development League (League 2 Northern Division) and you'll find some info about it here... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leeds_U...and_Youth_Team and his latest game was a win against Wigan with a report here... http://www.leedsunited.com/news/2012...247585_2909437 Always good to have mates playing professional football....good luck to him! Perhaps he can get a shirt signed for me

In March he underwent further surgery on his damaged anterior cruciate ligament and in July Warnock said "I can't see Davide Somma being available until September or October and can't see him starting anything until the end of August."
So he's still a way off even if things have gone smoothly since March....I feel sorry for the lad and he's been missed. Still hasn't sent Murph's missus any flowers to say thanks for putting him up.

Had interest from a few other teams as well (decent ones too) but he chose Leeds and impressed Warnock. Good to hear that he is playing with the development squad. If he does eventually make it in the first grade with you guys I'll try organize a signed shirt for you. |

Interesting letter from the fans to Bates. I don't really know a lot about the issues involved, but the whole thing seems a bit odd.

Interesting read Brophs....the buyout has been dragging on forever now and nobody other than Bates knows what the hell is going on.
It's always surprised me nobody with money has taken over Leeds....surely with a large investment we could be back in the PL fighting for a European spot. I like Bates and will always be grateful to him for taking us over....my club wouldn't be there without him. But it is time for him to move on with his profits and relax a little in the Monaco sunshine. |

Leeds continue to be one of the most unpredictable sides in the Champo (if not the football league) I see! Never know what to expect from them....
They're now below Huddersfield in the league! (I doubt it will end that way mind)... as an aside, Adam Clayton has been very good for them since joining from Leeds. |

Leeds United takeover to be fronted by Gulf Finance House as Ken Bates prepares to complete sale of club
Good news. Would be great to have Leeds back in the top division. |

This has been on the cards for months and all we needed was a little patience....Bates is getting on and will have been planning his exit strategy for a long time.
I don't begrudge him a penny of his profit from the sale butit will be nice to have some money behind the club. LONG time overdue and it's a shame it's not one of the many rich Leeds supporters who have declared their undying love for the club over the years. MOT |

Australian teenager Patrick Antelmi has signed his first professional contract with Leeds United. The 18-year-old striker has been with the club on trial since the summer, he scored in the under-21s win against Wigan at Elland Road earlier this month, and he has signed a one-year contract with a further year's option. Patrick had previously been with Portsmouth as a youngster. |
