The news of yet another Leeds victory has reached my holiday island in the Ionian Sea.....

How are the scousegits getting on?

Leeds 2-0 Swansea

Leeds climbed out of the League One relegation places as second-half goals from Jermaine Beckford and David Prutton saw off visitors Swansea.
The victory ensured a club-record start of seven straight league wins.

After a lively first half, Beckford broke the deadlock on the hour mark by drilling a right-foot strike into the bottom right-hand corner.

Within five minutes it was two as Prutton converted a low drive into the bottom corner from outside the box.

You have to give them credit. 7 wins in succession is a great achievement in the Football League.

The points deduction has galvanised them and instilled a real siege mentality. In their match-day programmes they only publish what they perceive to be the "Real" League 1 table.

Saint Dennis

15 point deduction was the best thing that they could have done to us.

I agree. We should lobby for a 30 point deduction next season

Wise has won the Manager of the Month award for the first two months of the season.

Leeds boss Dennis Wise has been named as the League One manager of the month for September. Wise's team won four and drew one of their five matches during the month.

He claimed the award in August when the Elland Road side won all three of their league games against Tranmere, Southend and Nottingham Forest.
