You know me, I'm easily amused when it comes to Leeds' demise.
It was an equally large kick in the teeth when you started looking like an actual football team instead of a collection of individuals hand picked off the street at random.
There is something dreadfully wrong about you being in contention for promotion, nevermind doing so from -15 points.

I enjoy the small things in life, like Leeds Football Club..

I just find it amusing when they lose, it's like when you find some money or something. Makes you feel slightly better.

Good job Lids.

Now that's out of the way you can focus on Europe.

Up to 4th - 2 points off the top

LEEDS UNITED bounced back from their midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to give manager Dennis Wise victory against the club he left 13 months ago.

Goals in each half from Jermaine Beckford - Swindon equalised straight after the break - set them up nicely for Tuesday's night's FA Cup replay against Hereford United.

But League One remains the priority and this win maintains Leeds's stunning response to the Footall League's pre-season 15-point deduction, having started the day in seventh place, three points ahead of Swindon, who had a game in hand.

Leeds welcomed back Frazer Richardson and Beckford from sickness and had an experienced bench, including Alan Thompson, Radostin Kishishev and Mark De Vries.

Swindon had Reading loan striker Simon Cox partnering former Hull forward Billy Paynter.

Casper Ankergren made a brave block against Paynter but Peter Brezovan was the busiest goalkeeper as Leeds did most of the pressing towards the Kop in the blustery conditions.

They got their reward in the 32nd minute when David Prutton crossed from the right, centre-back Hasney Aljofree handled and Beckford rifled the resulting penalty into the roof of the net for his ninth goal of the season.

Leeds were caught cold straight after the restart as Cox cut inside from the right and squared for Lee Peacock to equalise.

Beckford then raced onto a wayward back pass but his hooked effort was headed away by Brezovan, who had come out of his area.

Leeds went back in front with another cracker from Beckford in the 56th minute after latching onto a fine pass into the area from Tresor Kandol.

Swindon, who had seven booked, attempted a comeback but Leeds were still the more dangerous side, even though Cox had a 'goal' disallowed for offside.

Even more satisfying is to watch Marching gloat about their 'success' in League One this season.

Not as satisfying as seeing you more bitter and twisted than normal.
