He did very little. I only managed to catch the last 10mins though so I missed the first 6 or 7mins that he was on.

Hopefully he'll get a start against Norwich in the Carling Cup tonight, or at the very least more time

Thanks.. Lets just hope both him and Welbeck get a bit more than Sub appearances while on loan.. Are Sunderland playing in the Carling Cup this round?

You'd think in Big Sam and Brucey that SAF has more clout than he did in getting Roeder to play Rossi.

I'm sure there will be. It's too early yet though.

BBC: Blackburn are ahead against Norwich, meanwhile, as Mame Diouf gets his first Rovers goal from Chris Samba's flick-on.

From Eurosports:

39' Mame Diouf latches on to Chris Samba's flick to give Rovers the lead from close range. Neat move.

He's been doing nothing but running offside all game long, and the linesman is flagging again on his second goal. Only this time he's flagging that the ball crossed the line.

A bit early for a link to a vid? Maybe a link to a Blackburn forum to see them drool would go down nicely?

Hat trick! Wow!

Keep up the good work.

Edit. Just seen the goals. Nice to see he hasn't lost that aerial ablity. We do miss that in our side at times.

Bloody hell. I know it's against Norwich, but that's gotta be a massive confidence booster and put his case forward to Big Sam to start games in the PL. Good on him.

I don't understand... why didn't he bother to complete the job?

Does he have some sentimental attachment to Norwich?

SSN have the goals. They showed a great header by Diouf at the start of the 10pm slot.

Maybe he's a big Stephen Fry fan and didn't want to upset him.

Carling Cup against Norwich doesnt automatically mean he has made it.

Im very pleased for him though, but even still I will be surprised if he makes it at Utd
