Most successful player of all time
Which player do you think has enjoyed the most successful career in professional football to date?
This question begs another question: As a football fan, how do you determine the success of an individual player (past or present)? |

Giggsy has to be up there somewhere, doesn't he have something like 20 major honours with us, he is the most decorated player in English football history

If we are talking trophies and medals, then I'm not sure many, if any, boast more than Maldini or Giggs.
If we are talking money, then surely Beckam wins that hands down ? |

I'm sure Maldini has probably won the lot as well...was he not in the Italy squad in the world cup just gone ??
I forget. Giggs is most certainly up there, Seedorf, Gerrard i'd say because he's won everything major in the club game bar the league (unlucky stevie) |

Zidane.
Won the World cup and Euro championship for his country. And at club level he's won Serie A, La Liga and of course the champions league. A full medals cabinet for him. |
