Motd 2011/2012

I actually can't wait for it, I feel like I've been starved of tv football even though it's only been a matter of weeks.

Just thinking about the impending erudite insights from Shearer, how many times Hansen says 'pace, power and determination' and even the blatant slights on United - how I've missed them.

Just copy / paste posts from Motd 2010/2011 threads as caftards are as repetative as the motd team

Missed MOTD, looking forward to watching it tonight, as poor as Shearer is at punditry

I'd rather watch Premier Soccer Saturday with Dunphy. But MOTD is harmless, always reminds me of my youth. I wonder if they've got rid of that gash intro?

Wish Neville had been brought in there to balance it out, although I guess United-supporting Sky Sports subscribers are happy

According to Sky's EPG, MotD is in native HD this year rather than being upscaled. I hope this is correct, it's about time the BBC caught up.

Off topic slightly, but all this Soccer Saturday and Final Score business is fine...but nothing beats the vidiprinter on Grandstand.

They were the days.

That old boy's voice was so relaxing, with the gentle noise of it being printed in the background.

Surprisingly I think Hansen and Shearer will tip us for the title despite how biased Hansen is.

Why does QPR not have a sponsor? no wonder they have no money for transfers.

Everything seems so much better in the world knowing that for the next nine months we'll be seeing Vidic lifting that trophy

If it is, their shirt is bare.

Pokey ground, fans booing, player sent off for headbutting, QPR ladies and gentlemen.

Oh God, Colin Wanker is back, for some reason it'd slipped my mind that he'd be defacing our screens this season. Well, for a few weeks anyway.

I love the intro, the 'Welcome to Manchester' City sign followed by Rooneys overhead kick.

Taraabt has looked very decent in this game, some very clever passing and good footwork. From what I saw in the Championship he hogged the ball too much and lost it plenty due to trying to play his way out of trouble.

Question is, how long will Kenny get should Liverpool not perform this season. End of season tops I reckon.

Seb Larsson is a good signing for Bruce
I think he's signed well this season with Brown and O'Shea at the price he did

I do think though that he is a bit light up top, he should maybe try and loan one of our unneeded strikers, Macheda perhaps

I noticed that, but when he praised Flanagan for doing very little outside his own box

Truely shit analysis.

First of all, it was completely bias, secondly, aside from this little piece on Brown, we've seen no analysis on any of Sunderland's best moves.

The BBC is a joke.

Looked to me like Suarez tripped over his own feet, Richardson hardly touched him. I expect to see a whole lot more of that this season.

For a change Hansen actually complemented an opposition player.

This is complete rubbish. He does it all the time, and is actually very complimentary about United in general.
