Niko Krankjaer...

The FA Cup final just kicking off now, reminded me of this player. I think he's quietly been an outstanding signing for Portsmouth and one of the premier league's better players.

Could play for a better team i feel.

You're right. Would get found out at United. Think Portsmouth is his right level.

Don't think he'd get found out. Not every player in our squad is world class, we have players who are inferior to Krankjaer. And we have good players who aren't fast.

I wouldn't say any of our wingers are inferiror to Kranjcar except for maybe Park but he is only in the squad because he is a workhorse which Niko Kranjcar is not.

True. I also think he could do the job Giggs has been asked to do this season and not do worse than Ryan though, creating from a central area.

Decent player, very skillful, typical K14 player

but not good enough for us, not quite big four level lacks any real pace and drifts in and out of games.

First of all, Kranjcar is not a winger.

He is skillful but slow as feck and we dont need him, he wouldnt improve us.

He's one of those continental type players who dont really fit into the typical English 442

Well he is about as much of a winger as Ronaldo is - which I suppose he isn't. I was looking at it in a conventional point of view. You could easily argue United do not play any wingers at all.

Depends on what role he has at United. In a squad with a lot of rotation, he may not be a 'regular' per say, but he's probably no worse a footballer than Park, Fletch or the Giggs of today, so he could probably hold his own within our squad

See the thing is, he has a fantastic shot, a decent eye for a pass and a nice amount of flair which sees him backheel and do a few fancy things which are easy on the eye. But watching Pompy again, he didn't have a huge affect on the game. Does anyone have his goal and assist stats from the past season? I'd be interested to see how he did in comparison to Utaka, who had a bigger influence on their F.A cup win.

I like him, think he is a tallented lad and has time to improve. If he is destined to succeed at the very top i'm not sure but i wouldn't rule it out.

He's FAR FAR away from being the new Prosinecki.

That said, he is a good player and can do better than Portsmouth
