That Goal that Pato scored for Brazil was pretty darn good. Deffinately a mistake by the goalkeeper, but the speed at which Pato did it to perfection was brilliant. Looks the real deal and only 18.. can't wait to see him in few years.

Anderson created the opportunity by passing the ball where Pato could get it unless the keeper came for it.

The keeper blundered, and Pato made him pay.

Spain beat Italy 1-0 with a Villa goal. Torres recovered from Sunday to play the first half. Fabregas played an hour

This means it will now surely by Spain's year and who knows, this time they might be right. Even Marca (the giddiest show on earth) are trying not to get too giddy and jinx it.

No mention of the mighty Scots yet?

Scotland battled to a well deserved 1-1 draw with England crushers Croatia in an entertaining match at Hampden Park.

Not the friendliest of friendlies as the two proud nations fought for every ball resulting in maybe 6 or 7 yellow cards. Croatia showed class and composure in possession with Luka Modric the stand out in the croatian side, the guy oozes class.

On the scots side Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher was hot and cold, showed his ability but also showed his tendency to give away possession cheaply. Limped off after skinning his man and taking a real clattering towards the end of the match.

Also young Steven Fletcher made his Scotland debut and the highly rated youngester assisted the scots goal with a fine ball (lucky) for Miller.

Other noticable mentions go to Allan Hutton, firmly established as the best brittish right back as he was outstanding for the scots. Two mazy runs from right back left half the Croatian team for dead and almost won the scots the game. Why United didn't get this guy when they had the chance i'll never know.

He cost Spurs 9 million, thats almost enough to sign Phillip Lahm and Lahm is a good deal better than Hutton.

Yeah because Hutton had 5 years on his contract and Lahm has 1 or 2. If Lahm had 5 years he would cost 20million.

9 million is no big deal for a world class right back.
