Good luck to him, his inner demons will prevent him from realising his full potential though. I hope for his sake he proves me wrong.
Will be a good wake up call to our youngsters in the team tbh. Watching him leave tonight while Pogba gets 25mins in the first team. |

Good luck to him but he'll regret leaving United.
Doesn't matter how talented he is if he is not willing to work hard and sort his mental/off the field issues. I think if there was an indication that Morrison would've improved his attitude then he'd have got his extension but perhaps the club thought he wasn't worth the trouble and moved him on. |

Such a shame that it could've been him instead of, or alongside Pogba, making a great cameo tonight.
I'm disappointed but I can't help but feel United have done all they can with him. He must be quite special for so many to rate him so highly, but without the right mentality, it could greatly hinder him. I don't think he has the determination. It's a bold prediction, but I don't think he will fulfill his potential. |

Lads, I've deleted posts wishing a career-ending injury on Morrison. That's too far. If you want to make comments like that, do it somewhere else.

That quote from SAF puts it in perspective. I wonder if this is SAF's way of looking out for his best interests... After all it would be very out of character for SAF to throw a promising youngster under the bus too early in any way, after the chances we've given players time and time again to show their worth (and then making sure they have a good career if they leave).

Can't help but feel a sense of dissapointment. After 2/3 years of hype and excitement it would have been fantastic to see a local lad live up to it all and become the world beater many were predicting.

I find that hard to believe gb. Like someone said earlier, if he has bad company leeching off him they'd just easily tag along. If its a case of more general issues with the wrong kids of people, I don't see how the capital would be a better alternative?
