No love for him. He's better off out of it. He's not a professional.

After watching Pogba's glimpse of greatness tonight, It sickens me knowing that Morrison has just signed for West Ham. Silly little boy.

I want Pogba to succeed even more now, just so Morrison can see what he's missing out on.

100 pages. In the end, it was a poetic way to end it. Goodbye, sweet Ravel. See you in heaven.

Good luck to him, his inner demons will prevent him from realising his full potential though. I hope for his sake he proves me wrong.

Will be a good wake up call to our youngsters in the team tbh. Watching him leave tonight while Pogba gets 25mins in the first team.

I'd rather the player had gone up in flames here than elsewhere. He is a Mancunian and a Utd supporter. And he really does have cult hero written all over him, he's absolutely fucking class.

I feel that losing Ravel is endemic of some serious problems within the club that are growing more and more prevalent. We're fucking skint. We have no midfield. We're now out of the CL and FA Cup and City may well pull away from us for a few years. We have the opportunity to play these players now. But instead we're bringing back a 37 year old Scholes. And as much as I love him, it's a false move on Fergie's part. He knows he'll never get any stick for it because he's a hero. But what happens next season? When Scholes is 38, Giggs is approaching 40, Fletcher's shat out his guts, and Pogba has fucked off to PSG for 10k/wk. We rely on a topsy-turvy Carrick, Cleverley held together with Hargreaves' knees, and Anderson?

We had the opportunity here to repeat a class of 92 and it can very easily go tits up. Morrison is miles ahead of Pogba as a player. If I was Morrison or Pogba and I saw a midfield of Park and Rafael the other week I would be fucking pissed off. Especially after months of Fergie saying it's imperative we bring the youth through.

Fergie is fallible. We've seen him fail before. His insistence on closing ranks so severely may actually be backfiring as he has surrounded himself with yes men and shunned dissenting voices from the press room.

Morrison was worth the risk.
Just noticed this, what the fuck?

Good luck to him but he'll regret leaving United.

Doesn't matter how talented he is if he is not willing to work hard and sort his mental/off the field issues. I think if there was an indication that Morrison would've improved his attitude then he'd have got his extension but perhaps the club thought he wasn't worth the trouble and moved him on.

Fergie post match "He's better off out of Manchester."

Sad to see him go, but imagine it'll be his loss in the mid-long term!

Such a shame that it could've been him instead of, or alongside Pogba, making a great cameo tonight.

I'm disappointed but I can't help but feel United have done all they can with him. He must be quite special for so many to rate him so highly, but without the right mentality, it could greatly hinder him. I don't think he has the determination. It's a bold prediction, but I don't think he will fulfill his potential.

Lads, I've deleted posts wishing a career-ending injury on Morrison. That's too far. If you want to make comments like that, do it somewhere else.

That quote from SAF puts it in perspective. I wonder if this is SAF's way of looking out for his best interests... After all it would be very out of character for SAF to throw a promising youngster under the bus too early in any way, after the chances we've given players time and time again to show their worth (and then making sure they have a good career if they leave).

Can't help but feel a sense of dissapointment. After 2/3 years of hype and excitement it would have been fantastic to see a local lad live up to it all and become the world beater many were predicting.

I find that hard to believe gb. Like someone said earlier, if he has bad company leeching off him they'd just easily tag along. If its a case of more general issues with the wrong kids of people, I don't see how the capital would be a better alternative?
