The bit I quoted was also from a matchday thread.

You can be emotional and not a complete retard. Unfortunately not many have mastered that skill.

My own fault for watching those c*nts on Sky but I just heard Ray Wilkins trying to claim that Smalling was fouled, said it was shoulder to chest. This despite them showing the replay of the shoulders colliding while he was speaking. I fucking hate Ray Wilkins!

Even more bizzare is Dwight Yorke. Because the horrible mancs are playing Villa he says the forward should get the benefit of the doubt (not that there was any doubt). If they were playing anybody else he would be frothing at the mouth spouting the same rubbish as Wilkins.

All we need now is Clayton fucking Blackmore trying to tell us that the refs give them nothing!

Man United have won more points from losing positions than Liverpool have points in total.

Bullshit. It's not an automatic response. You've had to look away from the game, load the page and write the post out. It's not a kneejerk reaction at all, it seems quite considered to me.

People should just learn to be embarrassed by what they write in the matchday thread. I think a "redcafe goes into meltdown" thread would be just as good as a RAWK one.

It's a shame you'd like to quarrel, because you're the perfect example of someone who can appear emotional and still articulate(unlike the people I was talking about).

I don't (like to quarrel, that is); honestly, I regretted my post the moment I submitted it, especially since it's wildly off topic.
You're just bringing out the worst in me Moon!
(And that's my way of saying sorry for being an arse.)

And while I agree with Twigg that we're often talking lots of bollocks on here, I can't agree we're up there with RAWK. Where's the poetry, the the sappy love-letters to our manager, the wanna-be essays prefaced by latin quotations, the Foucault references, and the wild conspiracy theories?
Cookie, I think we're tame.

I meant more in terms of our knee jerk reactions and over the top anger. They're in a league of their own poem-wise.

The whole argument over who they should be rooting for in that game, given Villa's league position, was just a joy to read. Taking a small excerpt from it would not do it justice.

I encourage everyone to take a trip to RAWK and read the whole thing.
