Reading are a great side

No, seriously. Kudos to them for coming up and mixing it with the big boys.

However....can't help but

Did Reading get 3 points today? A shit penalty call helped them to 1 point.

Everton took 3 points, btw. But clubs that have played in Europe are expected to take 3 points at home.

I like it when a promoted side comes up and plays good football. I'd much rather watch Reading than most of the teams that languish in midtable every year.

Please stick to the topic. Reading a very good side, credit to them. They just took two points of the already crowned champions of England 2006.

According to LFC fans and plenty of media types, that would be Liverpool. I don't recall Reading having played LFC this term. Did I miss something?

Completely agree. I loved watching Wigan last season and I'll be keeping an eye on Reading games from now on (in the carling cup, etc).

No, Reading are a poor side who will get thrashed by the majority of teams they play this season.

Liverpool ARsenal and Chelsea will all beat them by 3 or more goals.

We fucking hammered them but failed to win due to a shit penalty.

We are still 3 points ahead of your bunch of shit though and Chelsea will win the title again as I predicted at the start of the season.

And as I recall... Liverpool were supposed to be the only challengers to Chelsea this season... so lets all have a good about that.

Just waiting for the arrival of guvnorgaz and his ilk to tell me the game was unimportant manud have already won the league after their 4 straight victories. Liverpool's season ended with the defeat to Chelsea dontchaknow.

I'm sure.... 3 points behind us must be horrible.

You've just beaten 2 poor sides yourselves... well done.

Shame you're not so good when it comes to proving your title challenge against Chelsea... or Everton

Interesting how when you beat spurs you all banged on how it meant you were genuine title contenders.

i didnt. We were lucky to beat Spurs and since then we have played pretty poor. If we are to be classed as "contenders" we need to beat the likes of fucking Reading. No excuses really today. Soft penalty but we didnt do enough to win.

we are as genuine contenders as any other side in this country....

contenders for 2nd place that is... just like your lot and Arsenal.

Chelsea will win the legue by at least 9 points again this season and nothing I've now seen from United Arsenal or Liverpool this season so far has made me think any different.

Today proved one thing, and that is that while Chelsea play shit, they have it about them to win regardless.

Ourselves and United are more 'human' and slip up a 'normal' amount. Chelsea are like a boring, efficient machine and win far more often than not, completely independent of how they perform.

Not knocking them for it, it's what wins titles and 95% of fans (of any team) would more than happily take that kind of output from their side.

In any case, whatever anyone says, they win week in, week out...whether they play well or not. And consequently, they'll win the title again.

another season fighting for second..... shall we agree to ignore 1st place and have our own personal United V Liverpool 2nd place championship again this season?
