Sagna out for 3 weeks
Sagna ruled out for three weeks
Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has been ruled out for at least three weeks with an ankle injury. The France international scored the Gunners' goal in their 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on Sunday but then sustained the injury late on in the game. Manager Arsene Wenger told Arsenal TV Online the loss of Sagna was 'completely disruptive' and now it appears he will have to find cover at right-back until mid-April at best. 'He has an ankle injury and the first news that we have is that he could be out for quite a while,' said Wenger. 'I don't know [exactly] how long he will be out but I feel it will be three weeks at least. Five is the [worst case scenario]. 'I have seen the injury again on tape. He wanted to kick the ball out and he twisted his ankle. That made it a bad injury.' http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...520343&cc=5901 Bring on Hoyte - Nani can have some fun again with him! |

It could be a big problem for them against us though. Hopefully we put Ronaldo on whoever replaces him. |

Huge loss for us, has been superb for us this season and even against Chelsea when he went off you could see just how our shape at the back was ruined. Has been a key member for us and amazing that when he was signed in the summer lots were a bit surprised as to why we spent Ģ7mill on a new RB considering how good Eboue was, problem was Eboue was brilliant in attack but use to leave large gaps behind him which would be exploited all too easily.
The one game where he decided to take his extensions off he had a bad game so definitely want him to keep those ![]() |

Eboue is already on 2 yellows in the CL - it's easy to see him pick up another at the Emirates against Liverpool and miss the Anfield game. And he's always a red waiting to happen. Doesn't augur well. Toure at right-back and Senderos to fill in? |

Its a shame for the player. I rate him highly.
Twas always going to end this way for Le Arse. Given the intensity if matches these days and the increased propensity for a player to get fatigued and injured, they simply do not have the depth to maintain a campaign. They will fall away as a distant third ... and in years into the future, this season will be remembered as a classic run in vs us and the Chavs of West London. |
