He's brilliant, and better than Carrick, but please let's not get carried away.

Agree with the sentiment, but would you take him ahead of Rijkaard / Desailly in late 80s / early 90s Milan?

Desailly could have had an even better career if he stayed as a DM his entire career. He was a monster

That's great and all, but what is Sergio Canales up to these days?

I said he could play, ie contribute to any team. I didn't say he would walk into the starting eleven of every team.

Big fan of this guy as a player. May be a bit of a cunt, but he is a quality player nonetheless. Would take him here in a heartbeat, though I think everyone would.

There are a number of players I like, but the one we perhaps need is Busquets, Xabi Alonso is playing too many matches now and we could do with a player like Busquets.
There's also Iniesta, but seeing him wearing the Madrid jersey is like Messi at Madrid: impossible.
Surprising he thinks Iniesta at Madrid is impossible but Busquets might. I dont see why he'd want to move at all.

I have a tiny-tinny soft spot for Biscuits after hearing the story that he picked up the match ball at the CL final at Wembley and gave it to Scholes, knowing it would be his last game (wasn't in the end, but still..).

I just hope that story is true, otherwise I've been too kind to him when it comes to others abusing him.

So could bebe, everyone needs a guy to bring the balls back when they are gone behind the goal.
