European Cup 1969, Malcolm Allison, "We will frighten the cowards of Europe"

First round aggregate score, Man City 1 fenebache 2.

Great history.

Good for the English coefficient. Fulham won't do anything significant in Europe.

When you're Ireland or Belarus, coefficients are important, but England?

Why is it not fair.
Fulham finished 17th. You should be allowed into Europe for being that shit.

So what? the rules are rules, albeit shit rules. If Fulham are the "highest" in the Fair play table after the sending of the City player and after the clubs that have already qualified for Europe , why should City get a place in the UEFA Cup? It has got nothing to do with whether or not Fulham deserve to be in Europe due to finishing 17th.

However, now is the case that Man City are in fact ahead of Fulham on the Fair Play Table, which changes everything.

With it being a Fair Play League and all, your league position means fuck all.

Yes, but you said its unfair on Fulham, which is totally irrelevant as City top the fair play league.

Personally, I think it should be fair play + league position. For example, the highest team in the fair play league that is in the top 10.

Imagine if a team like Derby got in.

I understand that, but reports before suggested that due to Man City getting a Red Card they were no longer ahead of Fulham. Now reports suggest otherwise.

Do the relegated teams still qualify?
