Wow, who could have predicted this. Germany seemed a sure bet at the beginning, before Portugal capatalised on a decent start with a run of five stunners, to tie up with the Germans. It's a two horse race at the moment but as we have seen so far, anything can happen.
Italy were noticeable for their absence in the early rounds, usually in the mix in these kind of events. But then out of nowhere they enter with a bang, pleasing the crowd with three or four banging entries. Could be one to watch out for, as could the Scandinavians - always popular with the fans. |
