What a joke!

Two reasons Liverpool won't win the Premiership:

1. They play crappy, dull football.
2. There's not a chance in hell that Crouch or Bellamy will ever be an integral part of a team that wins the Premiership.

Th eonly way Liverpool will win the league,or even finish in the top 4 is if we have a match rigging scandal and half the Premier Lge gets relegated

Can Crouchy supply a shed load of goals in a similar manner to Quinny for his vertically challenged partner in attack. You bet your arse he can.

Crouch could hold up an Avalanche if need be
Wishful thinking at its very best.

Is Sissoko seriously one of their reasons they will win the Premiership?

And another is a transfer rumour?

And the manager twice?

And the law of averages?

Always nice to see people acting insane at other clubs...

Arsenal, providing they can keep hold of Ashley Cole, should give us a right challenge. United might, if they buy well.

I think Liverpool will come 4th (might pip United if United don't sign anyone) but will do quite well in Europe.

We will, buy well or not. I can't see Arsenal challenging, i have a feeling this could be spurs' year

I don't think Manchester United are any better than Liverpool with the current state of affairs.

we have a better set of strikers, but an inferior midfield.

Nice one Moz (and probably the most convincing answer) but it's not enough is it?

There's too many questions about the current MU squad and no answers in sight. Rooney/Ronaldo situation may have been squashed but the tension between them may still affect the season ahead. RVN is a goner, and who's the replacement? Your two young stars are at odds with each other and your best goalscorer is leaving. The central midfield problems are well known and have been discussed to death.
There's just too many problems and no quick solution.

Pool are more or less the same as last season. Bellamy may turn out to be an improvement upfront but it's more of a testament to their lack of quality on the attack than to his ability as a player. Yet Benitez is a shrewd manager and he'll probably overachieve yet again but second place would be their best shot.

Arsenal imho will be the biggest threat to Chelsea next season. They have a healthy mix of talented youth and experience in their squad and if they keep Fabregas away from Real's clutches,Gooners will be a force to reckon in the near future.

Spurs will fail to challenge the top teams yet again and will end up blaming it on food poisoning.

squad wise it has to be said, the scousers look strong. Their midfield picks itself and has strength, ours well....picks itself because of lack of options.

To be honestthe rooney and ronnie situation is of no bother to me, it will be fine when they are playing together. Rooney is a top boy and will get on with his game.

But you wont win anything significant without a strong midfield. Liverpool, chelsea spurs and arsenal all have superior central midfielders.

The only place that Liverpool lack is upfront, and chelsea proved you dont need a 25 or 30 goal a season man to win the league when you have atight midfield and defence

All the teams below Chelsea need a few players in order to challenge.

Arsenal - Defender, Central midfielder, maybe a striker.
Man Utd - Two midfielders and probably a striker.
Liverpool - Wingers and a striker.

All three teams are still a few steps behind Chelsea.

We need a striker, a winger is not essential as gonz can play both wings.

If i have to pick the one that looks most likely to challenge, it would be Liverpool. I can still see Crouch and Bellamy getting them goals, but our midfield as it stands just isnt good enough. Arsenal need to improve their defence and get some physical presence in midfiel.
