Heard the other day that if they win the league City will have to double his wages, as agreed when they signed him.
Not sure whether that's funny or depressing. Probably both. |

Liverpool should really buy him, his attitude would fit right in! Suarez, Bellamy, Gerrard, Dalglish, Carragher, biggest collection of jerks in the game. Most teams would have to worry about Tevez souring the dressing room, but he'd just inflame their maniacal victimhood.
I know the Carroll swap failed, but they should go back in! |

Is it really costing them anything though?? He keeps breaching his contract, which means he keeps getting docked wages, so I'd woudln't be suprised if he's hardly being payed anything.... and they want a definite transfer out of the club, and don't want to be short changed (understandable on both accounts).
Even if they are paying his wages, Ultimately, they don't owe anything to man that has tossed them around, so why should they worry?? If a club came in with the right amount of money, they would sell... but they haven't yet, and they're under no pressure to sell cheap. |

I thought they were told they had to keep paying his wages. Could be wrong about this admittedly. My point is merely that no other club could afford to leak out £150'000 on a weekly basis for no reason other than just spite. All other clubs would have sold him by now.

I find it bizarre them rejecting £25M+ offers for him. At the moment, he's nothing more than an amateur golfer. His attitude and loyalty to all clubs stinks. A team could only want him based on his talent alone, and nothing else i.e. professionalism. They also had a dilemma of sorts in either taking a bit of a loss on him, or keep him at your club for another 6 months, with his value depreciating in that time. Mental from City. Or is that 'normal from City'?

It's a double edge sword really... you can see why a club wouldn't want to pay top dollar for a wantaway player, but at the same time, you can see why City will want to get as much money as possible for him. |

But I get your second point. Strange situation. Like when 'Tevez' was happy to waive his wages while he took a sabbatical, then came out and appealed his fines. No one's any idea what's going on. Smoke and mirrors. |

They should ship him off to whatever club they can find willing to pay anything for him. He's a good player, but clearly a completely cancerous impact on any dressing room he goes into. Arsehole of the highest order. If it was me i'd release him, cut the losses and let him go. They only signed him to make a point anyway, the point is made now.
Welcome to Manchester, Carlos. Now kindly take a running fuck off back into the hole you came from. |

At Man City, they can afford to get rid of him for nothing, they can quickly change the minds of players who he influences with more money, and they can afford to let him rot in the stands. Could a lot of other clubs afford to do the same, though? |

How can this man have any integrity left. Tevez should of been sacked for breach of contract and now he will be laughing it up. No matter how good a player he is , he should not be let anywhere near a football club. Mine you thinking about it , let him play and back to the club has if nothing has happened , he will soon cause discontent in the dressing room , and that can only be good for United |

I'd be much more worried about a City team in the run-in with Tevez in the team, hence why I was desperate for them to get rid of him. Make no mistake, Tevez getting back involved in the City squad this season is not good news. |

I also have to agree that Tevez in the team could give them that something they are missing right now. |

This was always the risk. And yet some of the numpties here bizarrely were NOT wishing that City sold him.
The sooner our ex player is out of City the better, for me that has always been the case since he went there. |

From start to finish the whole thing has been hilarious..... when you think back at how proud they were that he'd chosen them over us when what was really going on was always plain to see....$$$$$$$
