Although seeing him mess Man City around is quite funny. For the good of football he really needs to be moved on in the summer. The lies and treachery from his camp aren't fooling anyone.

He is a disgraceful twat.
That said, I expected him to make an explosive impact on the team and after a few good performances he would win back fans and teammates support. People who are saying this is a bad thing for Shitty are deluded. |

Don't know if he'd win team mates support back, imagine if you've worked your bollocks off all season to get city to where they are now to watch the club bend over backwards for someone who has not been there, is not part of the team and you see your team mate dropped. This one could go either way.

Tbf whilst rooneys wasn't quite as bad as what tevez did it was still extremely bad and there were plenty of fans who wanted him out. Difference though is how it was handled. Fergie used his experience and didn't let it get to a situation where Rooney staying would be seen as a weakness. Mancini let his emotions rule and said he would never play for city again and so him returning looks like a back track, because it is.

Of course they are 'COMPLETELY' different, I'm sure there are City fans who would like Tevez out by the by, so bit unfair to paint them all with the same brush based on what a few have said. Of course we are far superior in every way though, goes without saying!
Duration of the 'saga' is irrelevant, 2 days, 4 months, 4 years... who gives a F? |

Oh and FYI obviously the duration of the saga is relevant. Tevez has been acted like a twat since a year or so for City, Rooney acted like a twat for 2 days, realized his mistake and then signed a new contract. Even then majority found it difficult to accept and some of them still does. Whereas Tevez has been acting like this for last one year, and it's practically confirmed that he'll leave the club in the summer, I can't see how City fan can warm to him. Edit: Reading this thread Bluemoon-MCFC: Manchester City, Man City • View topic - Tevez finally apologises the majority are telling him to fuck off, so fair play to City fans. |

That's why I say duration is irrelevant, they both put two fingers up at loyalty for cash/playing time, Rooney got his cash, Tevez didn't get his playing time. TBH I think fans (of ALL clubs) will warm to anyone who will play well for them whatever they have done, which is why I find it funny at some people's disgust that some City fans are willing to forgive Tevez, there is no need for that kind of arrogance. |
