that figures, I wouldn't expect to field Drogba, Terry and Lampard, but still Chavs youth lost to a league two side 5-1.

got the Spurs side?

Shitty drew as well.

We have the best young players in the league, even better then the kids coming through from Arsenal. The difference is ours are a bit underrated because they are properly phased in to the side by the gaffer over a period of time rather than like the Arse where they field all of them together and play pretty football.

Yeah right. Who've you got that's within pissing distance of Wilshere or Ramsey?

That Spurs team is pretty strong to be fair, disappointing result for them. Should have come away with something especially since they'll be hoping for a good European run this year. Still, only a meaningless friendly.

Its fair to mention these but I can't believe we are comparing youth players who play in completely different positions. However as talents who have actually regularly made the first team they can be considered as greater success so far in their careers.

Its fair comment to pick out those two players because as ACM's they both play in a position where we don't current have alot of exceptional talent coming through, if we did we would have two ready made replacements for Scholes.

However I could just as easily ask which young forwards you have within pissing distance of Welbeck or which young striker you have within pissing distance of Macheda.

Making such comments are easy as producing an abundance of exceptional young talents in all outfield positions is nigh on impossible. Thats why most clubs choose to bring through what they can whilst spending to improve the areas that youth talent can't fill.

Oh yeah and Ramsey cost you guys just under 5mil and can hardly be classed as "coming through" at Arsenal as he has hardly spent any time in your academy system (which is how coming through at a club should be interpreted IMO) and was bought to be a squad player. Similarly neither has Fabio or rafael for us so they should be left out of the equation.

Live Big Fight Special also just coming on — Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Juan Diaz.

It's a rematch. I love watching the boxing in the middle of the night during the summer live from the US.

Yes, the last fight was a classic and the fight of the year in 2009.

The score cards were level going in to the 9th round when Marquez managed to knock Diaz out with very little time left.

Marquez is 36 years old and not the same fighter that he once was, so this is a genuine chance for Diaz (only 26 years old) to win two world titles (WBO and WBA).

Having said that, Marquez is still the favorite for the fight.

City's midfield three were Vieira, Barry and Y. Toure.

Although to be honest all I learned from that video really is that Materzzi still plays - I thought he was going to call it quits at the end of last season.

Chelsea are being spanked by Frankfurt, but it's somehow just 1-0 (Hilario howler).

Hilario, Paulo, Bruma, JT, .Cole, Mikel, Yossi, Zhirkov, Kalou, Anelka, Malouda.

I just love Chelsea's keeper prospects.

The dippers also lost to Gladbach 1-0.
