The ref was pretty clear and he was right. I thought it was penalty straight away because I didn't see Pennant get the ball at all. Turns out he didn't and clipped Park's heel.

It won't help him, but he has every right to say that and he's correct.
Had it been early Saturday he'd have had a legitimate complaint, but Thursday night / Sunday lunchtime equates to the same rest period as Wednesday evening / Saturday lunchtime, which is commonplace and has been for years.

The fact it's been commonplace doesn't mean it's right - Sir Alex has complained about it as well. And Stoke certainly aren't used to it so you can see why Pulis wouldn't like it.

What does he want? It's gonna happen on one end of the scale. Every team that play in the CL play 3 group games on a Tuesday. Well, they don't play their games on a Friday. That just doesn't happen as a first game in a round.

Whining about schedules when you're in Europe doesn't work.

What's worse. Sat-Tue-Sun or Sat-Thur-Sun? Same thing. Sounds like it's an excuse ahead of time for not fielding full strength because we know how the FA doesn't like that. They want to have some say in home team set up their teams.

I'm assuming the problem isn't about playing on Sunday, but playing early on Sunday.

So he wants stoke to be a bigger team by competing in Europe, then stop complaining!

If you're gonna have to compete in europe then build a squad that can cope. Otherwise throw your european games in the first round.

Sorry Tony, that's how it is at the higher levels of football.

Yeah i agree with you Amir (No i don't it).

They're playing against Valencia on Thursday (16/2).

Of course they're needing another 7 days break.

They should play then against Crawley on Thursday morning (23/2) and Valencia away on Thursday evening..........that should be okay.

Fuck off Pulis..........if you're playing in europe then you're playing every 3-4 days.

If the squad can't do it then stay away from european football.

That's not the issue. It's obvious they should be playing on Sunday and Pulis hasn't complained about that. But why at noon? If it was us, Fergie would be saying the same, and has before.

Normally they start a little later than noon (12:45, doesn't matter much), but it's not the issue. Why can't a match involving a team that hadn't played on Thursday start at noon rather than Stoke's?

This moaning cnut criticized the ref's decision again. IMO the fact the FA doesn't give a shit about this guy and Stoke shows how important they actually are.

It's annoying that this little gobshite is allowed to moan after every single game. IMO, if you're managing that shower of cheating shite, you're not allowed to complain about any decision, ever.

You make it look like Stoke are a vile side that only ever win due to blatant cheating, which couldn't be any further away from the reality.

Actually, it's quite accurate.

Their tactics consists of lumping it towards a supposed big man, who'll dive to win a free-kick. When they go into the lead, they're timewasting the rest of the match, and against decent sides, they spend most of the match waiting for Sørensen to take his goal kicks.

I just can't stand all this talk about Stoke being a club doing things the right way, a "well run club" etc. Pulis is a detestable character, and his tactics rely heavily on "intimidation" and supposed hardmanship, which is in actual fact endangering opponents with thrice the talent with dangerous and ugly tackles to stop them from playing their football.

Shite team, can't wait till they go down.

If it wasn't for refereeing decisions, Stoke would be in the bottom 3.
