Ah yes. The goal that Drogba was convinced would win them the league. Great goal but his comments after that came up and bit the smug twat on the arse.

Messi scores 2 types of goals only!

1. Well timed run behind the defence with a lofted through ball into his run from Xavi/Iniesta, slot into either corner

2. Dribble around 5 players and slot it into either corner.

Not sure I agree with the OP though. Drogba isn't known for his long range goals, he's known for his aerial ability, powerful finishing and ability to outmuscle defenders. Stunning goal, regardless.
Yeah, I fail to see how the goal in the OP sums Drogba up as a player. He didn't dive or cry or moan or bitch in that clip at all.

The prick.

Aye, although in Rivaldo's case he scored so many overhead kicks it could be argued it was a typical goal.

I thought Inzaghi's double against Liverpool epitomised the player, a lucky deflection and a ruthless, tidy finish.

Bergkamp earned a reputation for bending it into the far top corner:

RVN run from half way line. Will add video later

Horrible Quality, but I'm guessing this is the goal I am thinking of:

Saha scored just a few into the top corner.
