How'd the referee manage to see that? Fair play to him. Unless he intended to give the second yellow card for the sarcastic clap, and happened to turn round at the right moment.

it was upposed to be a Bayern throw, the ref gave it to Hamburg. so he took the ball walked a few steps holding it while talking to the ref. he got a yellow, he clappped and then when the ref turned he did the gesture...he got a fine from the club. oh and this wasn't his first time...he did this to the Real fans last season after scoring:

Okay okay so at the beginning, you still have a referee mistake. That's what I wanted to know, since I didn't understand that part. The rest was pretty clear. And yes, Van Bommel is used to be a bit provocative, but that's the privilege of some genius players It was still a stupid one, though.

Last time, against Real, Van Bommel did that because he felt as a Barcelona player and all. Well that's no explanation, at least, no valuable reason. But that's what he said. Probably too impulsive.
