I have to say that was one of the most lop sided semis I have ever seen, and it was truly men against boys. That said, they came to OT and held their own in September so I dont consider that a valid excuse. A more valid excuse would be that he didnt buy a striker when he should have.

NEWS FLASH - This just in...

Wenger blames the earthquake in Haiti for the Gunners spectacular premier league collapse. Mr Wenger explained to reporters and fans how tremors and aftershocks common after major earthquakes have disrupted the Gunners passing game. He went onto suggest that it has upset the shorter players in his squad who are closer to ground level and are thus more sensitive to sudden changes in displacement of the earths crust.

So there you have it. A rational, scientific excuse for why Arsenal aren't title challengers anymore. Blame the Haitains and their earthquakes.
