Inter get screwed by a referee in both games, if they didn't have two wrongful sendings off then liverpool wouldn't have progressed. Simple as that. Yeah Zlatan missed a couple of chances you would want him to stick away. So did Cruz, Stankovic etc from Zlatan setting them up.

But yeah he sucks i'd rather have John Harston, at least he uses his "physique"
We may only watch him '2 or 3 times a season' but they tend to be the really big matches. Also throw in the internationals. He always goes missing.

top 3 youtube players around im sure but the guy is sooo overrated. A while back i said id be gutted if we signed him and was roundly poo pooed.

well shove it up your arses. Its amazing how the guy can live off a flash goal for a season without people noticing his actual contribution to a side, especially when the chips are down. grates me

Sweden are shit, wouldn't matter if they had Ronaldo, they would still be shit.

Also i think the fact his name is Zlatan Ibrahimovic and it is bosnia where his family come from might have something to do with his average performances at international level.

Christ you lot are deluded, your very own Don Fabio rates him extreamly highly but then again he must be totally clueless, a crap manager, no idea about football if he rates Ibrahimovic as a good player. When clearly he is just a lazy over-rated big twat.

He has a whole in his knee and has been playing with risk of serious injury for the past month.

Spot on,

If someone tuned into United 2 or 3 times a season in big games and Ronaldo and Rooney were poor do you think it would be clever to decide they were total guff? yes very clever indeed.

He was a pundit for bbc talking about the relative merits of larrson and ibramoverratedvic. He was very clear and correct in his thinking that henrik carried him for long periods then zlatan would produce a flick or some such pish and that would be enough to keep the credit rolling while henriks work and contribution went largely unoticed.

He turned up at Highbury playing for Ajax 5 years ago and was pants, as he has been every time I've seen 90 minutes from him, as he was with Juventus a couple of years back at Highbury. Also he's pants in the same fashion ie great skill but lack of application, physical commitment, spirit plus a tendency to sulk when things don't go his way.

must be amazing he's scored more than both Rooney and Tevez combined in the league eh?

He was actually pretty decent last night, ok he missed some good chances, but they were not exactly far away from going in. He set up some for others too, on another day if they all go in what would people say then?

When did Martin O'Neil say that quote btw? Maybe he doesn't like Zlatan after what he said about John Carew 'What John Carew can do with a football I can do with an Orange'

That's bollocks though. Henrik was voted the best Swedish player of all time a couple of years ago. His contribution hardly went unnoticed did it..

Thing is Zlatan has been tremendous for Inter this season, any fan of Italian football knows that. He's getting better and better every season. He needs to show up more in big games (not unlike mr C Ronaldo), that I'll agree with but it's a lie to say that he's always crap against decent opposition or whenever he plays for the Swedish national team. He has scored 5 goals in 7 games in the Champions league this season and in the home game against Denmark he probably had the best game I've ever seen from a Swedish player and he didn't even score. You can't judge a player on a couple of games or yesterday alone, and even then he wasn't as bad as some would have you believe.

Zlatan rubs people the wrong way, he is arrogant and generally pretty unlikable while some players like Larsson, who is the ultimate professional, are liked by everyone. That's why you lot are so fast to call him rubbish - because you want him to be.

Well screw everyone who doesn't rate Ibrahimovic, title winner at ajax, juve and inter. Voted forign player of the year in his first season at Juve, Player of the year for Inter.

He will keep proving people wrong.

Martin O'Niell is clueless. I remember his rant about the injured ibrahimovic, exactly the kind of thing i would expect from a man who was in love with chris sutton and john hartson.

Larsson is a legend and i wonder what he would say about Ibrahimovic, i wonder what the people who actually matter think of Ibrahimovic. Ask your current england manager or your former one (successful Sven not Clown McLaren) what they think of Ibrahimovic and then tell me they are clueless and tell me they couldn't see tallent and that they havent proben themselves time and again as being top class managers.

It strikes me that the people who don't rate certain players don't watch the league they are involved in. "Italian football is slow and defensive" if that is your opinion then give up.

No doubt about Ibrahimovich's talent, skill and ability.

But, imagine if he had Rooney's application to go with that...?

I agree with that but at the same time it is his style, like berbatov. Before Berbatov played in the EPL i bet everyone who is saying Zlatan is shit would have said the same about him, they would have seen him on the odd outing and thought, that guys a lazy turd.

Rooney for all his endevour has been relatively poor in all honesty. He won't shoot, has lost the ability to kick a ball with his left foot and hasn't looked like winning a game on his own for a while. I still think he's brilliant, i'm just being honest.

Ibra is currently not at full fitness, may have to go under the knife soon to sort his knee. But if you look at the goals he has scored this season and even in the champions league you would see what he can do.

Yes he missed chances against liverpool, i was gutted i hate liverpool. But if Inter didn't lose a man then eventually the pressure would have payed off. Don't forget the good things he did for his team in that game.

Which is why so many people criticise him.

He does not make the most of his talent.

Nor does he like a fight.

spot on mate...

ibra was the focal point of the inter attack. the only player on their team that may have outperformed him was zanetti, a constant threat. stankovic was shite all night. cambiaso played alright. cruz had his moments. but ibrahimovich was always the most likely to make an impact.

had inter played with 11 men on either night, i think ibra's impact would have been more significant

Not as shocking as claiming that the French League is a hell of a defensive league... Even Miller would be considered as a star there !

I rate them both highly, but the Swedish is a little bit more gifted technically. Although Dimitar is more of a humble striker and can have a good influence on the rest of the team.
