Larsson has always rated Ibrahimovic.. And Ibrahimovic has always preferred playing alongside Larsson in the national team.. Ibrahimovic obviously has the talent, it has been shown over and over again. His problem is that he disappears in some games, there is no consistency, and if he doesn't perform against the big teams thats what he will be judged on.. |

I think you need to deal with the fact that a lot of people thinks that Zlatan is crap. While you clearly have a hard on for him and would like to have his kids, a lot of other people don't. Deal with it.

I'm guessing he is saying that Zlatan isn't performing at international level with Sweden because he isn't actually swedish.. Because why would a professional footballer care to perform for the country he is born and raised in..

I think what he means is that since zlatan is originally from bosnia he has no tie with sweden and therefore doesn't try as hard as he would if he played for bosnia. That's my interpretation of it anyways.

I hate it when people claim he isn't Swedish, it's just such an ignorant comment to make. Some of my closest mates are born here but have foreign parents and they are no less Swedish then me. Look at the France team at the WC '98. Was Thuram*(along with half of their team) less of a Frenchman than Deschamps? And how many generations back would you have to have lived in a country to be a 'true' citizen? Maybe Sol Campbell isn't English either?
EDIT *Zidane would be a better example. Grew up in the suburbs of Marseilles - the French equivalent of Malmö, has foreign parents and became the best player of his country. French non? |

I just saying to mihajlovic what my interpretation of that poster's quote he was quoting was. I in no way was implying that zlatan doesn't care for sweden.

Ok your accusations were totally out of line. My point was maybe because his family are from bosnia he doesn't feel 100% swedish and therefore doesnt give his all for sweden.
Where did i say it was because Bosnians are a bunch of lazy cnuts? If you read any of my previous posts you would see that i am a Ibrahimovic fan be him bosnian, swedish or what not. Swedes seem to have a bad attitude what with Lungberg, Melberg and Ibrahimovic out on the piss and having fights during training so maybe it's a swedish thing. Anyway, his performance against Palermo was average, exellent assist but wasn't quite with it for the rest of the game. Still a decent performance, nowhere near what he's capable of. |
