Am i being stalked on facebook?

To cut the story short... In the past I've had an ex girlfriend create an account on facebook to basically stalk me whilst she's been blocked, so since then I'm always wary about who i accept as a friend.

However, from out of the blue a random girl added me the other day.

You might say to yourself, "if she's a random, then don't accept her" which is a very good point.

However i don't wish to be suspicious of everyone that adds me.

So, can you think of any tell tale signs that the profile is a fake one?

Seems to have legit pictures, only 3 pages mind... Over two hundred friends... Any ideas?

Just be honest and ask her is she your ex-girlfriend. Surely she wouldn't lie?

200 hundred friends.....bit too many to be a hoax.

This. Is it some kind of e-cool thing to have as many 'friends' as possible, even if you only actually really know a small fraction of them?

Ah yet another real life conundrum. Surely you can add her, limit her, then stalk her instead. Soon enough you will eventually figure out whether she is your ex or not. If it's a fake account, you will be seeing little or no activity on that account, with 200 friends this shouldn't be difficult.

This. If you're stupid enough or vain enough to add strangers then you takes your chances

Never add strangers. Weirdos love to stalk enough on Facebook as it is, don't make it easier for them.

Not that I'm saying this girl is a weirdo. She may well not be, and the fact she has over 200 friends and 3 pages worth of photos makes it pretty unlikely to be a hoax page, however I don't get why you'd want to add someone you don't know?

Well firstly yes she would, blatantly my ex is a psychopath. Secondly if she isn't then i look like a weirdo... Which is true but don't want to be giving out that impression.

Because she's well fit! This is one of the reasons im suspicious, its not everyday you get someone who is pretty much a 10/10 adding you on facebook and then blatantly flirting with you. Doesn't happen to me that often anyway!

She seems to talk to the same people throughout her conversation history, mainly to someone who has a cartoon as their display picture, and to someone with a picture straight from a clothing catalogue.

The whole point of facebook is stalking.

You can't sign up to facebook and then complain when it turns out to be facebook

I'd be careful I had a "stalker" once. They'll probably end up asking for your money and if you say fuck off and throw her of the friend list they'll make facebook groups saying that your a molester and they'll spam your inbox. Been there, done that.
