Bomb threat in Kingston

Had a bomb scare outside my flat in Surbiton two days ago, police closed the road and started evacuating houses close to the suspect area. It was rubbish and nothing happened, plenty of people were stranded outside for a while, and one lucky policewoman was driving a two-seater undercover Audi TT.

That's all.

I was debating this earlier. Yes. Yes it would have been alot more interesting. I would have had more cause to be upset, a problem right now to deal with, and then the hero status to deal with. Now, however, I'm at work, working because nothing happened.

I like your thinking on that

I've often been involved in close calls and wondered 'what if'

May be a bit wierd but i was nearly run of the road last week driving home from work and becasue i swerved it was avoided, i went onto think about how it may not have been so bad if i'd have stuck to my guns.

these are the first signs of some resistance against the institution. i_live_cement and keysersoze have been particularly critical of the revolution. id say we start with them.

Your first lesson is self-sacrifice. You know what to do.

If they were, they did it in a very awkward and unpractical way. They were threatening to arrest shopowners if they didn't close and leave. Why didn't they want to leave, the alternative is stay and possibly be blown up!

Excellent, your unflinching desire to act on our wishes is impressive.

Self-sacrifice isn't necessary, go make me a sandwich bitch!

Why the hell isn't anyone responding to the original message. I was nearly taken out the game! I'm sure it was an attempt on my life, someone doesn't want me reaching 22,000.

Well, I say Kingston, but it was actually Surbiton.

That's not Che Guevara, it's a special picture of whatever you want to see. You want to see Che, because you've never been able to get over the Cuban revolution, and your fascination with him will be the end of you.

When I look at my avatar, I see a Mammoth plowing through the snowy mountains on the eve of December.

Ahh the old tent of leaves - very much my speciality. My time in the bush with Ray Mears has clearly not been wasted. The fat boy has come good!

it is no cult. if you had read the brainstorming session thread you would see what it is. it is a way of life, a reason for existence. it is the institution.

and there is plenty of plunder and womens, you can only know of them once you are inside of the institution.

Apparently they had been warned of a suspect device.

Loads of people were laughing at the thought of a bomb in Surbiton, no-one thought anyone would want to target this place. One guy cracked up and said 'Its lowering the name of a already low neighborhood', then he casually strolled over to the area where the bomb was meant to be around! Police obviously moved him back.
