Cutting down on the bud

I am currently finding this impossible, which is annoying due to financial issues. My brain tends to shut down after about 2 days or so, which i'm finding a bit worrying.

Any suggestions?

You need to go cold turkey for about 3 weeks.... then if you have the will power ease back in to one or two a week and limit yourself to that...

I havent had a spliff in about three weeks

Go for a jog in the evening instead. Its all in the process of replacing 1 habit with another.

Force yourself to do it 14 days in a row if possible, and go cold turkey mate.

When I went from smoking a shitload every night to not doing it at all (essentially moving away from home to going to uni), I replaced it with beer and sex.

Keep smoking. There's no reason to quit unless you're feeling a little skitzo. I used to smoke 5-10 joints a day. Now I smoke 1-3 a day. Been in Rome for the last 3 days and haven't smoked a thing.

Strong will power, or I just don't suffer from an addictive personality.

Home tomorrow night though, can't wait to roll a fatty!

I have completely stopped smoking skunk - it just knocks me out nowadays - must be getting old or something

Sticking to weed and hash nowadays - there is some lovely afgan black going around at the moment - not to be missed if you can get your hands on any

Sorry if I overreacted mate, this is a subject I don't take lightly.

I had a nephew who got really into this shit, totally changed him from the young boy I once knew, he suffered paranoia, depression and ended up trying to commit suicide.

He's clean now, but it was a God awful time for the whole family.
