Dough's important. You have to use special pizza flour. Double zero or something, it's called. And it's best made in a clay oven. Proper pizza dough when cooked should be crisp yet chewy. And you can;t beat fresh tomatoes instead of the tinned stuff.

Depends on your taste, doesn't it. Proper Italian pizzas don't have much cheese. It's all about the dough and tomatoes sauce. And I'm not a fan of meat on my pizzas. I don;t think they go well together.

I am a big fan and attempted to post that exact picture earlier.
Glad you have some class and enjoy good pizzas, clay oven all the way. The best one i have ever had was in Florence... Piennolo tomato base - molto importante Buffalo mozzarella Wild boar salami - absolutely magical And a healthy portion of spinach, it was like some beautiful woman lay in my mouth caressing my taste buds with her sumptuous love wand. She wasn't a he by the way. |
