Emo is a naturally occurring phenomenon

Apparently scientists have discovered that Emoism, typified in humans by the presence of dar makeup, floppy hairstyles, self harm and depression, is actually not limited to humans and is naturally occurring in the wild.

Many animals have displayed Emo traits including:
Pandas

Lamas

Penguins

Dogs

Cattle

Horses

What a revolutionary discovery. Now we know which animals we need to make extinct as soon as possible.

Not as if this is necessary, considering that they'll probably kill themselves anyway.

Actually, FOB stradle the line between softcore emo and pop punk. They lyrics and form of much of their new songs show crossovers, and they have always been accepted by members of the "emo community" as an alright band.

Yeah but, I mean I'm guessing you've heard their songs and surely you have to agree there not really Emoy, emo. Tbh they say Blink 182 is emo, not imo. But yeah the lyrics are borderline, heard their new song? Too mainstream, too too mainstream

Always find it funny that Blink 182 and all Pop Punk bands, are put in the metal sections at like HMV and Virgin.

Blink attempted to cross over post Boxcar Racer. It failed, miserably. Altough that album holds a special place for different reasons.

The problem with the term emo is it is an umbrella term.

You get the softer stuff like Home Grown and it progresses up to TBS, then FFAF, Silverstein and then it takes in the Metalcore elements like Atreyu.

They were on the same bill as Aiden, Roses are Red and Silverstein, so technically yes.

Although, as I have made clear before, I would class underoath as complete and utter dog turd.

My second favourite band, ever. Although, as per the bands who lost their way thread, I have become disillusioned with them since Matt got ill in writing Hours.

Four and Seven Ways and BOAM along with CDAIC were the soundtrack to my teenage years, such raw passion in music.

The only band I place above them is Brand New whose albums, Deja Entendu especially, are musically and lyrically perfect.

Nice. Brand New are one of my favorite bands. Lyrically, Deja Entendu is superb.
