English speaking countries
Are there any very small ones with low density and decent standard of living?

A rich student, eh?
I was only joking, by the way. I'm sure N. Ireland is a lovely country. Although, the only person from N.Ireland I know had a firework set off in his face for being catholic/protestant (I can't remember which). Nasty business, was that. |

No...
Like I said, I'm sure Northern Ireland is a great place to live, it's probably a lot better than most places in the UK. I was just pointing out the irony that the only person from Northern Ireland I know happened to be the victim of a violent sectarian attack. |

A man stands on a Belfast street corner late at night, seeking a taxi. Suddenly, he feels a pistol in his back and hears a voice ask, "Are you Catholic or are you Protestant?" Thinking fast, the man replies, "I'm a Jew." As the hammer clicks back and the trigger's pulled, the voice behind him says, "And I'm the luckiest Arab in all Belfast."
It's an oldie, but a goodie. |

New Zealand was the first name that came to my head. EDIT: Seems like a few people agree. If you like your sheep, green, rain and annoying accents you'll love NZ - and Ireland too at that.
Also Tasmania down here in Australia might be worth a look-in. |

It's a beautiful country, absolutely beautiful. But famous? The only thing it's famous for is being a poor mans Australia. Like I said - If you like your sheep, green, rain and annoying accents you'll love NZ - and Ireland too at that. |

Im an Aussie... those are the two things that come to mind because 1 is a famous trilogy and the other one had a rugby union game a while back :P . I'll let everyone else guess which is which.
But to be said if you have alot of money already and want a low populated English spekaing country then NZ is the way to go. Personally i would rather go to Perth, but i dont care about seeing snow. NZ has alot of adventure sports to offer as well. Plenty of us Aussies do trips over there for skiing and rafting and that sort of thing. |
