FAO UK based ladies

I'm not getting any younger, so I try to take care of my skin but no cream and no moisturizer so far have fulfilled my hopes. Now I've read that Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter is miraculous for face skin.

Now my question: Are there any UK online shops who sell it and accept payments from abroad? I googled a bit but not with much success.

Thanks in advance.

Surely it's all about prevention. Once you got wrinkles it's botox or you're fucked.

Ps. I realise now I'm not a UK based lady so may not be qualified to answer the question.

EDIT: Pps. I didn't read the actual question either thinking about

Yeah, my skin is quite dry and I notice a difference in comparison to three, four years ago. I've tested so many creams now and even really expensive ones from the pharmacy but I'm not happy at all with them. The use of creams and moisturizers doesn't stop the ageing process but at least it makes you feel better .

My big tip for you Lailiani is the Lancome Aqua series, it's expensive but it works miracles for dry skin (like my own).

Yeah, 45,50 euros aren't exactly chicken feed. How many weeks do you get by with it?

how do you stop your forehead flaking off?

I moisturise every morning and night, yet still get Goldmember style chunks of skin coming off

I can't believe Rimaldo posted in this thread without picking up on the fact that people are rubbing baby bottom butter on themselves.

It lasts ages! You use so little of it every time, and you get result pretty fast. I even bought the lipbalm of the same series and that was brilliant as well.

Edit: Try and get it taxfree from the airports if you know anyone who is travelling soon. That's where I get mine from usually, always cheaper. There's the "cream-gel" and the "cream".. I've tried both and the "cream" is the best.

You have to clean your skin as well, before moisturising. Use a good exfoliating scrub, there's a lot of those for men. I'd say scrubbing your face with every shower and moisturising afterwards will work..

Try using face creams containing Retinol. Always keep your skin moisturized. Stay out of the sun: wear a hat or cap outdoors. Do NOT rub your facial skin, especially around the eyes. I have no wrinkles or lines, proof that this regimen works.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. Having a good and expensive cream is probably at the end of the day even cheaper than constantly testing cheap creams that aren't good at all.

Sun/UV-rays, alcohol, smoking and mimic are mainly responsible for skin ageing - so yeah, your advice is pretty good. Studies show that farmers have the worst skin and nuns the best one. Therefore I use self-tanning lotion instead of going to the solarium or sunbathing.

As for the rubbing, you are probably also right, unfortunately I've made it a habit to clean my skin every morning and night with a cleaning cream that contains peeling grain. Maybe I should stop with this habit.

Yes, that's true. It's worth it in the end, look at it as an investment for your skin.
