We live to die... That is all. There is no meaning to life. Your final act will be death. Everyone you love or have loved will die. Some before, some after you.
It is an inevitability, and anything we achieve in life will become meaningless and trivial. Everyday you live, is a day closer to the day when all you love and cherish will die, as well as being a day closer to the day, you yourself will die.

I had it all figured out once when I was in University. Everyone else went off to the bar and I stayed at home to watch footy. I was so high I couldn't find a pen or paper to write it down on and when I sobered up I had forgotten.
