She passed out on the Luas last year and then on Holidays in Sardinia. We were in Tripod at Bon Ivor, it was fucking roasting and she fainted, like seriously passed out, I had to get 4 lads to help me carry her out, face white as a sheet and eyes wide open and fully dilated... scared the shite out of me. |

Rather than make a new thread, I have had a small lump on the back of my head for ages, it's a hereditary thing, either bone or whatever, but the other day I noticed it has gotten bigger. 60% of me thinks it's a gnat bite on top of it as it's like sore to touch, not painful sore, like on a 1 - 100 scale of pain it's like 0.01, but just that i know it's there.
Anyway, yeah it just seems to stick out more, bit odd. |

I would suggest that she buys supplements such as Iron Tablets, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C & Cod Liver Oil tablets also. You can buy them pretty cheap in Boots, they do a really good deal with "Buy 3 for 2" etc.. make sure not to take multi-vitamins when using these as she'll have an in-balance - she'll have too much in other words! Above all this - she should go & have blood tests at the Docs so they can rate her blood for deficincies or lack of something. The Mater hosptal does this very well, she might have to go to her Doc first but here's the number & the Dept: Blood Testing Section, Pathology Department, 01 - 8034735 Mon - Fri 8.00am - 8.00pm I'd blood tests done after the new year & it was worth the stress as I lacked a tad of iron through boozing too much & not eatin enough iron laiden foods, got a load of the vits i mentioned & feel ok! Best of luck Pops - look after the ladies that make the babies - Tupac ![]() |

![]() I can see why man, thats terrible & no joking matter either. Supplements are very good. My sister became a vegan many years ago & her blood pressure was just like your gals - very low, so she would faint & generally feel lacking in energy. So she got started on supplements & she great now. Your gals diet might need evaluating also, i'm sure she's already considered this, but keep an eye on this aswell. Women have a tendancy to eat less to lose weight but that doesnt necessarilly mean they will lose weight, as water gets retained & the pounds are still there. Her blood sugar must be low so she needs to boost it. I dont wanna alarm you but i heard a stat that thousands of people in the country suffer from Diabetes but dont know they have it, so its something worth investigating just to be sure.... to be sure..... to be sure..... |

Rest of your advice is excellent, though. If someone has hypotension (low blood pressure) fainting regularly, there's a possibility they are aneamic (usually due to being iron deficient) or not eating/drinking enough. Most of the time, though, there's no reason for it to happen, just bad luck really. |
