I was thinking the same thing. And I wouldn't be suprised if it happened either.

Not really amazing. Which manager would dare drop the "Scouse god" named Carragher?

One which doesn't know what he is doing would be the answer to that question. Like it or not, Carra is, and rightly so, one of the first names on teh teamsheet. At present it is a battle to see who partners him not who replaces him.

With Skrtel's injury yesterday, now is the time for Agger to step up up the plate. And he will. Then hopefully, it will be just as difficult for Skrtel to get back in the team.

Was just going to post here and say that, Skrtel's serious injury now makes it seem unlikely that any transfer will go through in January atleast!

Maybe.

But it shouldn't be though. Both he and Skrtel are way superior to Carragher as defenders.

Like it or not.

In your opinion Chief. A good partnership is always better than 2 individuals though and Carra is a leader on the pitch. There is every likely hood that Agger Skrtel is the partnership for the future but for now, they are battlign to partner Jamie. And rightly so.

I am just happy that we have 3 top class CBs to compete for the 2 places and will be happy with whatever the combination.

To be fair to him he does give you British spine and local passion. Plus he I agree is a leader for your team.

I thought your fans did the same when Stevie Me wanted to leave.

Every team has a small minority of muppets in their fanbase. Look around, if you don't see the fish, you are the fish.

Well there is no way Agger will be leaving because of Skertel's injury.

He's World Class.

A legend.

Not at all the type that would try to smash up a team mate for pointing out he isn't international quality, or who would threaten to send his gang after a radio presenter live on air when the England manager pointed out that he wasn't international quality and he threw his toys out of the pram.
