EXCLUSIVE: DROGBA TO INTER ; ZLATAN OFF
Doubts were cast on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's future after it was revealed that the Swedish hitman does not feature in new Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho's plans.

A source close to the former Porto and Chelsea manager revealed, "Jose wants to take Inter to a new level and win the Champions League. To do that there will have to be changes. Jose is not satisfied by the attitude of some players. There will be some new faces bought in definitely and some familiar faces leaving."

Questions about Ibrahimovic's attitude has plagued him throughout his career and many football pundits believe that Ibrahimovic won't fit into a Mourinho team. Mourinho has already expressed his interest in reuniting with Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, who is eager for a move away from Stamford Bridge.

This news will come as a shock to Ibrahimovic who has been in sensational form this season helping the Nerazzurri to their third consecutive Scudetto. Ibrahimovic, who starred in Sweden's opening game victory against European Champions Greece, has just recently signed a new contract but says he always keep his options open.

"Right now I want to just focus on the Euros. All I can say is that I'm happy at Inter. But you never know in football, anything can change. You need to keep your options open. Nobody knows the future.", he said speaking to a Swedish television channel following Sweden's 2-0 victory over Greece

Several top European clubs are reportedly interested in signing the talismanic striker. European Champions, Manchester United, are one of them and many at Old Trafford believe Sir Alex Ferguson will be able to bring the best out of the Ibrahimovic.

Thing is he provides alot more than only goals to his game. One obvious sign of that is that he mostly scores crackers, since he's always heavily marked and couldn't poach alot of goals. I think he's grown since getting married and having a son. He can now enjoy footy without getting too obnoxious when he's on top of his form.

The biggest reason why he hasn't been producing in the national team is due to his lack of confidence in a team where the coach is defensive minded and often plays with two deep-lying midfielders providing very little support. Inter bases their entire play around Ibrahimovic while Lagerbäck is a typical swede, very much like a communist, that thinks everyone should get in line and be exactly the same, no matter skill or position.

If Sweden starts to base their game around Källström and Zlatan the results would come flying in for Ibrahimovic. Unfortunately this won't happen until we get a new coach which probably won't happen as long as we qualify for big tournaments, even though there are hundreds of thousands who've signed petitions to get rid of the negative thinking Lagerbäck.

Ibrahimovic is everything we need - a fast striker, very tall yet with incredible technique and movement, still relatively young.

If he was made available by Inter I would be happy to see us go for him, even for as high as £25-£30m.

I know what you mean with the Kuyt reference but what I mean is players who are capable of the sublime and magical but also arent fussy little cunts like Imbra and are prepared to put a shift in when required. If we had him in our side in either the Barca or Chelsea matches I doubt we would have progressed. Hes potentially a high class player but I for one hope we go nowhere near him. I seen him live aswell and thats where he really annoyed me!
Na, thats just like saying Chelsea and Barca are better at playing football and United need high effort and comitment to win. Sorry but that is Liverpools game not uniteds.

I loath Lagerback. How can Kallstrom who is undoubtably a tallented lad be made to sit on the bench whilest seriously dross midfielders get picked ahead of him. Lagerback should be shot.

Not at all but you have to admit there will always be certain matches or periods in important matches that even the best teams in the world will be under extreme pressure. My point was that when United find themselves in that situation we have players who will help the team with their work rate. Its not a comment on our overall style of play which is of course sexy! Great teams are flexible and have a plan B and do what it takes to win.

Absolutely. I guess i can't say anything new on the matter or i'll just be repeating myself

Ibrahimovic would be a fantastic signing for any top team, i still don't think he will leave Inter. For a start Moratti adores him and the fans would not like Mourinho if he axed their hero.

He would have to sit on the bench more often than at most other clubs. Doubt he wants that

You should've just said anyone who disagrees with you is a 'know nothing dickwad' and we'd all be done with it.

Like ive said before, we have had numerous opportunities to buy him and not taken them. What makes you think this year will be different? I could be wrong though.

Agreed, he is horrible. Just watching him play tonight reinforced my view that he is slow, lazy and not good enough for us. He looked terrible tonight

Yeah, they made a reference to needles in his knee seeming to have helped because he only made 45 minutes last game

rubbish. won't happen. Chelsea Barca or Madrid will beat us to his signing but doubt Mourinho would want to keep Adriano and kick Ibra.

Well Barca are interested in him, he is interested in Barca and there is a possibility of a swap deal between Ibrahimovic and Eto'o because Inter have been know to have an interest in him.

He is interested in Barca? Havent seen that story myself yet. You usually have a link spare, so care to link? I'm pretty sure he would be interested in Barcelona regardless of quotes. The same way I'm sure Huntelaar and Berbatov would be if they knew of any interest.
