Don't know what prateik is on about
BBC Radio 5 have reported this according to this Chelsea forum:

The Daily Mail will be running with the story (which does not make it true at all of course).

Thanks.
Interesting if true, hopefully his performance against Spain is the norm for the future rather than his quality performances in the Uefa Cup and the two other Euro matches.

Nothing wrong with Arshavin to Chelsea. It'll be Malouda rather than Cole who loses a place. He could also play off of Anelka or whoever they replace Drogba with directly.

essien deco ballack in the middle

cole arshavin and a striker ..
that could work ..

still would leave too many players who wont get a game

makelele , lampard, obi-wank, shevchenko, drogba, SWP, malouda, kalou, pizzarro, sidwell .... few of them will leave

huge squad

Drogba, Malouda/SWP and Lampard to leave I'd say.

I don't know if he has the quality to succeed at the top level. At 27, he has yet to really really prove himself.

Same could have been said for Hargreaves tbh... many were moaning about paying 17m for someone who's only had a decent world cup in an underperforming squad.

Arshavin really is quality, i've noticed him at least two years ago although like you said he hasn't played at such a top level and therefore caught little or no attention. It would be very difficult to sign him now and anything over 12m, IMO, won't be worth it has he only has about 3-4 good years left before he starts losing his pace, which is one of his biggest assets.
