Hleb is a lot quicker than people think, problem with him is he doesn't use it as often as he should. Against your lot he left Evra for dead in one move and not many will do that. He really isn't as direct as he should be.
Thing with Nasri is he is much more willing to take a man on and much more willing to have a shot which is why he should eventually surpass Hleb, Hleb really doesn't do his talent enough justice with his performances. |

Reserve Team Player

Agreed about Nasri, he should fit in perfectly and after a year or so he will become a much better player for you than Hleb ever was, and he'll compliment your team perfectly. Him and Rosicky on the wings would bring you a fair amount of goals and plenty of creativity, along with Fabregas. |

Here's a fantastic post from AL, about this:
Looking on it from the outside, I can only speculate that Marseille and Arsenal came to an agreement about the two players. Arsenal can have Nasri if they didn't move for Ben Arfa. Arsenal get Nasri, Marseille have Ben Arfa and Lyon get rid of a problem player which will keep Benzema and a few others happy. Let Marseille have Ben Arfa, in my opinion, he's only there for one season if he does well and if he implodes, then Arsenal will have saved themselves alot of grief. His attitude is dreadful and he badly needs to grow up. Imagine if we signed him and he didn't play immediately, how would he react? How would the other players react to a player who seems only interested in his own game? Plus the French/Francophone players know all about him and his attitude so they'd already have their opinions formed about him. I don't doubt his talent but there are question marks about him. Next season will decide his future one way or another. If he screws it up, he'll soon find himself doing circus tricks for some nothing club in France, Spain or where-ever. |

People persistently under rate Hleb's contribution because he doesn't score or register very high on that crap stat 'assists'. He was fundamental to our performance last season and will be a big loss if he goes.

I doubt we ever wanted Ben Arfa, he's been playing more as a classic winger which we don't deploy. Plus, I don't think he's that good.
