i hope not. he's one of my favorite players. first of all, i don't think he'd fit the chelsea kind of player, and i can't bear to see him playing crap, defensive football. |

Grant is gonna try changing Chelsea into a more attacking team. I'll expect them to make moves for the likes of Deco, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Messi etc.. to move away from the boring team tag that got from Mourinho...
Lets just say I'd much rather they got Robinho than Kaka, or even Ribery. |

i think he is. he'll just go back upstairs and be a director or summat. i think he enjoys the behind the scenes football work over being in the spotlight as the gaffer. nothing wrong with that. i'd personally rather be a director of football/technical director over a gaffer.

Had a very good first half. Injuries ruined the second one. Think Chelsea are bound to go for a really big player this summer. If they get Robinhio, I won't be too worried.

Agent - Chelsea want Robinho
Brazilian star unhappy at being included in any move for Ronaldo Robinho's agent claims that he has held initial talks with Chelsea as his client feels undervalued by Real Madrid. Vagner Ribeiro is upset that Real rate Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo higher than his client and are willing to include the Brazilian forward in a swap deal for the Portuguese star. With Chelsea having reportedly already tabled a 36million euros (£28.4m) offer for Robinho, Ribeiro has told Madrid that unless they begin to appreciate their player more then he will have no choice but to leave. "It's true that Chelsea are interested in signing Robinho," Ribeiro told Spanish sports daily AS. "They have been after him for a while and there has been much more contact since (Luiz Felipe) Scolari became the new Chelsea coach. "I met with (Frank) Arnesen in London and he confirmed to me that Chelsea wanted my player for next season." And he told Globo Esporte: "Neither Robinho or myself like that Real Madrid are prepared to use him as part of an exchange in their bid to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. "We do not understand this attitude and we want them to begin to value Robinho because they are not at the moment. "Robinho is as good if not better than Cristiano Ronaldo. The difference is that Ronaldo reached the Champions League final and Robinho did not, but if he had and won the trophy too, then he would be considered on the same level." Priority Despite claiming that Chelsea could be an attractive option, Robinho wants to stay at the Bernabeu if possible, but only if the club's attitude towards him changes. "Robinho's priority is to stay with Real Madrid, but he cannot be in a place where he is not valued and for the time being he is not, and I am not talking about financially," Ribeiro continued. "I refer to the fact that he is being undervalued in comparison to Ronaldo. Think he's calling Madrids bluff rather than any desire to join the renties. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...761253,00.html |

Yeah, there were some question marks over his attitude as well. I'd be happy if Chelsea blew £30M on him rather than spent their money elsewhere.

Marca reckon that Robinho could use the Webster ruling to terminate his contract this summer like Gutierrez did to join Newcastle the other day.
While I think the Webster ruling is terrible and that if these type of deals become popular that will be bad for club football I won't exactly be shedding a tear if Madrid lose a valuable player this way. It will apparently cost about £8m for Robinho to do this which is a pretty spectacular bargain for any club that could persuade him to make a switch. |

He may not be as weak as he should be for his size but he'll never be that difficult to out muscle.
He's also one of teh most overrated players in the league. irrespective of his size his control of a football is shocking and he cant beat the first man from a cross. He's from teh Aaron Lennon school of "kick it infront and run after it". At leaqset Robinho seems a bit more skilful - having said that he won't like the physicality of the PL and he'll have to up his work rate and hsi end product to have any chance over here. |

But then so-called experts like Andy Gray give the Premier League this reputation that it is the most physical league and all of the other leagues pale in comparison. That's far from the truth. Hasselbaink said he thought La Liga was more physical. The Premier League is more physically demanding fitness wise but that's about it. |

But is he really that big, I have never seen the three of them together, but I though Robinho was about the same size as Lennon and SWP. |
