He's had an EXTREMELY long injury, one that is meant to be a repeating one at that. He's an absolute wonderful player and I would take him here in a heartbeat. But what I'm hearing from Japanese fans is that he'll have a reoccurring injury problem much like Rio's.
He deserves to be at a bigger club in a better league. Hope it goes through. Wenger is a fool not to go after him. He's still pretty young, physical, great free kick, long distant shooter, can be the creative point or the striker, can play out wide... Everything Wenger needs. Better than Podolski in my opinion if both are fit. |
