Since City are favorites to win now, he will move to City for sure.

I can see this being another Sanchez transfer saga, one week he is odds on to join city then next week it is us.

There is no point speculating until the end of the season..

Would he even get a game at citeh?

If we do get rid of players like Berbatov, Park and even Anderson this summer then Hazard might feel inclined to come to Old Trafford because there is clearly more playing time available to him.

Obviously having said this, we're not even sure if Fergie really wants him anyways.

City unsurprisingly leading the race for the lad according to the Telegraph.

Considering the immense talent we've got in CM, then Hazard would struggle to get the regular first team football with us and which is being offered by City.

I really hope we get him. He is nailed on to become a world class player IMO, and it would be terrible to let him go to City without even attempting to sign him. Really hope we go for him.

Don't really see where he'd fit in at City, but still think he's nailed on to go there.

With Park and Rafael at our disposal against the weaker sides, i don't see any room for a player like Eden in our side...

I think he'll go to City, or Chelsea.

Nasri would be relegated to the bench and sold off in a couple of years to AC Milan.

No room for Hazard? That's one thing that always frustrates me about us. You have a potentially world class player, but because we already have players there (arguable lesser quality bar Nani/Valencia) you say we don't need him. With that type of attitude we would not have gotten Ronaldo, or Rooney. Also unless you were sarcastic, its ridiculous mentioning park and rafael there. For one, Park is clearly past it. Rafael is a fullback.
If you were sarcastic ignore this

He was being sarcastic. Or he may be a complete moron. It's a toss-up.

It's sarcasm, of course. Morons tend to word their sentences differently.

Ancelotti saying he is not going to PSG and apparently he was at our derby as well. I think he might have made up his mind after that game.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but Hazard was at the Etihad watching the game on Monday night.

Kinda sucks donkeyballs that we have to settle for second best players in the market nowadays.

Is every player that City doesn't want to sign really "second best"?

Cisse >>>>>>> Dzeko would be just one example to counter that idea.

if he has any sense, which i believe the lad does, by sticking with Lille for so long when he could have moved years ago, he will realise, that there is a vacancy with our midfield/attack which he can fill, at city he will compete with Silva and Nasri, at united he could easily play the role Giggs plays now (a kind of free role in the middle)

Have we ever bought at the absolute top end of the market?

Was going to say Veron.

You could argue Rio & Rooney too.

I'd agree with Rio, I'm not sure Rooney was that good when he was purchased.

Both English players and there was no Mansour or Abramovich around at the time we signed Rio.

Veron is only one example and it shows that we very rarely buy at the absolute top end of the market.

He had just lit up the Euros that summer. I'd say he was certainly a rising superstar in the making, not at the level of established players like Henry and Ronaldhino, but defintely a phenom.

I agree he was a phenom, but probably not at that time on the same level as the top strikers in the game.

A fantastic investment, of course.

When it comes to foreign players, we rarely seem to get involved. If we do then we don't often succeed.
