As long as Sir Alex is at the helm there isn't a lot that can break the side from within.
Dude, Ruud's rift with Ronaldo came close. Splitting the dressing room a bit. And got Ruud kicked out of the club. I love E'too the player. But off the field his issues are to dangerous for us to buy him. He needs to go to the Serie A. Where men like Maldini have become fossils in a starting place

But is it fair to say that it's really the 'partiers' that hate him? The ones who let the hype go to their head and let their wild side affect their football? That's how it seems to me.

Of course, it splits the dressing room anyway, so it's mostly semantics.

It's all hypothetical and none of us can be sure but I do think if we got him for £20m or less, it could only be a very good thing. I think he would tear it up in the Premiership and in the CL as well as his behaviour being kept under wraps, he seems ideal as a player though his behaviour will remain the only question as you say.

Well you are mistaken. Xavi for one doesn't party. Yet he and E'too aren't too tight anymore. he dressing room got split into E'too friends and Ronaldinho friends. Thsoe who tried to stay neutral like Deco and Henry (divorce and his missing daughter respectively) who had domestic problems also got caught in the cross fire. Worst of all it started to show on pitch. Despite Messi, Puyol and Xavi's best efforts

That's the thing. As player, there not better fit for us as a player. He is at the right age, has the best on field worth ethic of any natural forward and scored goals. If a man like Fergie feels he can handle the lads attitude. He should just get him. He'd take us up many levels

Yep, Sir Alex will make the decision I guess and he will probably do that after speaking with Eto'o (if he is indeed interested) therefore having the best judgement of whether he will be disruptive or not. I think Eto'o's pride would have been hurt a little with Barca so openly declaring that he's "surplus to requirements" because it was only a year or two ago where he was the most sort after player in the world...I think this is bound to have affected him and hopefully helped his attitude improve too because he will know his next move will probably be his last big chance at the highest level.

He might also be able to tell Ronaldo about more of Real Madrid's terrible ways (doubling up with CQ).

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, please Fergie don't sign Eto'o. I very much like the player BUT he's poisonous and NOT what we need at the moment. We need a big, hard bastard to lead the line and free up Wayne to smite the opposition.
